Nant y Felin Restaurant, Pentre Llanrhaeadr, DenbighHad a wonderful family meal. Were a little concerned by the small menu choices but everyone found something they liked. When the food arrived their choices turned from something they liked to loved.
Fish and chips, delightfully crisp. Farmers pie, stock full of flavour. Home made ice cream for desert were amazing, nettle sorbet too, which we weren't expecting.

Dinorben Arms, BodfariPlenty of car parking spaces, nice dog friendly pub, pleasant surroundings inside with an open fire place.
Food is well presented on the plate with a good variety to choose from off the menu including those with allergies. Wine by the glass can be a little expensive but hey ho you're out to enjoy yourself in a good pub.

Henllan St, DenbighExcellent Sunday roast with mixed meat would of liked option of mash or boiled potatoes however it was nice extra gravy in a jug plenty of veg and proper homemade Yorkshire puds just be aware Pepper comes out fast even had a nice homemasapple crumble

Llanrhaeadr, DenbighSecond time visit today, and once again it was lovely.
A simple menu done wonderfully and the best looking cakes (though we were too full to try one today).
Certainly now one of my favourite go to’s when we have friends or family visiting.

Visited this traditional old pub in Hendrerwydd (just outside Llandyrnog, Denbigh) today and it’s so much more than your typical country pub. From the moment you walk in to the roaring fire and cosy seating, it feels warm and welcoming. The bar area is small but has everything you need, and we received such a lovely welcome from the lady serving us, who explained their small plates concept, recommending two to three plates per person. We tried the homemade pâté (in fact, everything is homemade using local produce) and the flavours were spot on. It actually reminded us of a Michelin star restaurant we once visited in Copenhagen but without the unnecessary “foam” and over complicated flavours. Here, they’ve got the balance just right with interesting combinations that really work ? Compliments to the chef. Very clean and tidy throughout, even the toilets were fab! A cosy little gem that’s well worth a visit. 10/10 ? handbag restaurant review.

10 Bridge St, DenbighI absolutely love this traditional pub in the heart of Denbigh. Emma, the new landlady, is doing a fantastic job, following in the footsteps of her Gran who ran the pub for over 30 years. Always a lovely warm welcome, and the beer is a great price.

They created a cherry and vanilla milkshake for me as they had ran out of strawberry. It was amazing, maybe this should be on the menu?
They brought water out for our dog. If you want a light bite and a drink before ascending the hill to the castle this is the place for you. 10 out of 10. Amazing gem in Denbigh.

Chen Lin Chinese Restaurant
Back Row, DenbighWe chose to visit Chen Lin Chinese Restaurant in Denbigh for a Christmas Eve dinner and it turned out to be a great choice. On arrival we were welcomed by the team and invited to choose a table as the restaurant was not busy though it was only 5pm. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed which suited an early evening meal perfectly.
Not long after being seated we were ordering our drinks and shortly afterwards placing our food order. We decided to start with vegetable spring rolls and chicken and sweetcorn soup which were both well presented and enjoyable. For our main courses we chose the chicken curry with fried rice and the sizzling steak. All of the food looked great when it arrived and the sizzling steak came with a nice bit of theatre during the presentation which added to the experience. Everything tasted really good and was clearly freshly prepared.
The service from the team was excellent throughout our visit even as the restaurant began to fill up during our time there. We never felt rushed and the staff remained friendly and attentive. I would recommend a visit to Chen Lin if you are looking for great food in a nice location with a great team.

Sam's cafe
Sams Cafe, Spencer Industrial Estate, DenbighI called in to visit Sophies Bench, that the people from Sam's cafe had put outside in memory of a friend of mine, that had recently died in a bike accident.
She regularly frequented the cafe and was a popular character.
I only had a quick cup of tea, but found the people there very friendly and helpful, if that is a reflection of the food, which smelled very nice, it will taste good as well.

Ruthin Rd, DenbighWe were there for teas after a hockey match with Denbigh Hockey Club.There was lots to eat, which isn't always the case after matches. Some places are really stingy with food. The lady made us cups of tea & and coffee, which was kind of her.

31 High St, DenbighA small shop but with fantastic service. Staff are always pleasant and bread and cakes are delicious with excellent choice. I remember going into the Towyn Bakery 70 years ago to buy my grandparents bread and cakes. Shows a good company keeps going.

Don't go anywhere else, just go to Kens. Best Chippy not just in Denbigh, but within N Wales.

Service Station, Mfg, Castle View, Rhyl Rd, DenbighWent in to subway this morning with my son ordered a foot long chicken teriyaki meal and some potatoes with a cookie.. the service was outstanding there was two girl working. The girl that served me was so polite and very friendly.. keep up the good work will definitely return

28 Bridge St, DenbighBeen going here years, cannot fault any of it. Friendly staff - Alper is a legend and such a nice guy, always throws in some free drinks, asks about family and what been up to, just a really nice man. The rest of staff are always polite too.
Food is great, the pizza for me is best around, better than dominos. My favourite place to go when im fancying some take out food.

2 Rhyl Rd, DenbighFirst time here, as we were passing through. Lady who took my order was welcoming and polite. I ordered Salt and Pepper Squid, Yeung Chow Fried Rice and Fish, Chips & Peas. All dishes were well cooked and tasty. Nothing was greasy. The Salt and Pepper Squid in particular was so delicious. Prices were slightly higher than we pay locally, but portion sizes were bigger for the Yeung Chow Fried Rice and Fish & Chips. We could not eat it all, even after a long walk and no lunch. Would recommend!

Simply Fish & Chips
31 Rhyl Rd, DenbighI’ve been a Denbigh resident for most of my life. I felt that the quality of the food had declined a little bit over recent times, but we just ordered two battered cod and chips and we were genuinely blown away with the quality. The fish was delicious, the batter was beautifully crispy and not too heavy, and the chips were perfect! It was sincerely the best fish and chips I’ve had in years, and probably the best I’ve ever had in Denbigh.
Kudos to the cooks!

Morrisons Cafe
Smithfield Rd, DenbighStopped off with my friend and my son who is 5 months old and had a pot of tea, the tea was nice and was no complaints off staff when we got more hot water. My friends coffee was nice and the baby changing facilities were very clean and there is also a sink, a sideboard and a toilet in there for adults too. The only thing that was bad was the ladys toilet, it was decent enough but there was toilet roll all over the floor.
