Went twice. It feels like you are in an old fashioned shop but everyone is so friendly (including to dogs) and the food just excellent. We were a family of 6 adults two children and a dog. Food, coffee and smoothies excellent. Really the best selection of home made cakes and tray bakes I have seen in a long time.Do go!

A unique coffee shop experience. The decor and ambience are very old school.... dark wood apothecary type fixtures and fittings.....reworked to provide a homely, atmospheric cafe. The food is good value....omelettes, sandwiches, all day breakfast etc.....with a huge enticing homemade cake selection. We always eat lunch here when we're in Dolgellau. It's a highlight of our trip just as much as the surrounding mountains!

Exceptional full breakfast to eat it and cheesecake to take away. Staff are friendly and attentive. Perfect way to end our holiday. Thank you.

Lovely hot chocolate, comfy, nice ambience. Only thing stopped the five star review is the temperature - cold out, and noticeably not especially warm in.

Quirky coffee shop, Very relaxed and cosy. Only oat or full fat milk available so due to my intolerance I was unable to enjoy a hot drink. Server was a bit rude but other staff were very

I love this place! Great atmosphere and amazing cakes baked by Meg. Cooked breakfast is excellent. Very busy place, expect longer waits during peak periods.

Superb superb SUPERB cakes! The Bakewell slice... So almondy, so jammy, so frangipani and gooey icing on top. The scones.... with a hint of vanilla knocking about. The Rocky Road (Ffordd Cregiau!) - so much chocolate and biscuitty goodnessNice big mugs of tea too.

One of my favourite cafes anywhere, situated in a fine old building in the centre of town. Sensibly the interior remains much as it was when it used to be a hardware store and is all the more impressive for it, with a long counter and plenty of seating on the ground and upper floor. Breakfast are terrific although i suspect one of the main reasons for customers visiting are the fabulous cakes, made by the owner, 'Meg Queen of Cakes', as described by The Sunday Times. Meg and her staff are delightful and I always enjoy my visits.

Friendly helpful, attentive staff. A properly big full breakfast with excellent quality products, well cooked, served hot and thoroughly delicious. The desserts/cakes also looked amazing but there wasn't any pudding space left in me after the breakfast/brunch. this does give me the perfect excuse to revisit the place though. :) Lovely place, delightful staff, excellent food, definitely worth a visit or two!

Very nice cafe. THE BEST IN TOWN!!! staff were wonderful and friendly. They were all happy. Cafe had it's quirks but I like the old style cafés. Food was really good quality. If I'm ever on the area would definitely go again. Cheesecakes are beautiful and tasty.
