Called in at 4.30 pm on a weds, everything was fresh, the chips were just finishing when we ordered!All the ladies behind the counter work friendly and efficiently.The portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, we paid £16 for small chips with bitesize fish, haddock and chips, steak pie and chips, a jumbo sausage, a large pot of gravy and a small pot of spicy curry sauce!

We called at 7.30 as driving through and had read the great reviews on Google .We were both hungry but as we walked in the staff were very unfriendly and looked put out we were there.We were told there was only chips as closing soon...they didn't close until 8.30 !!!The chips weren't fresh and very oily ...I had an upset stomach all night !!!Parking: No where to park difficult place to find

We had a fish and chips last night because the valley was closed so we went to Maggie's kitchen holywell the fish was disgusting because there was no fish in the batter be aware don't get fish I will never go there again water thin fish
User of 3 years, just had the most discustsing take out in my 60 years of life... Batter with last nites fish disolved inside , not to trusted they don't give

We went there as the chippy in green field was closed. Never agin!!!! Don’t have what you ask for only the things that are out which was hardly anything. Would never come agin. Disappointed

We live in Holywell and we used this chippy when we first moved here in 2010...Over the years it went a bit shabby so we haven't been here for around years.. We tried it this evening and to be perfectly honest the food was awful and tasteless... Will not try it again, very dissapointed and a total waste of money... The birds will be having it in the morning !!!!!
