Booked into this lovely hotel yesterday for 1 night as I was attending a job interview today. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Room was so clean and cosy (6). Everything you need in your room. Wasn’t feeling too well on arrival and asked for a specific meal and it was no problem. I had the continental breakfast. I have no complaints.

Absolutely first rate pub! Very welcoming, lovely staff. Cosy and clean, great atmosphere. We ate there twice. The food was fantastic both times. Meals were freshly cooked, generous portions and exceptional value for money.

A lovely shop with emphasis on ethical produces . I’ve also ordered goods on-line , wonderful service . Staff are very informative and goods are excellent and a wide selection of . I have been taking bladderwreck , type of seaweed , for my arthritis since February, it’s really helped with the locking sensation I got in my fingers .

We visit Coco’s every year and have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding. Whitebait is always a fave of ours, but I have to say, the chicken and chorizo skewer was to die for!! Best meal we’ve had in a long time and the staff are wonderful too. We’ll look forward to returning next year !

Food is really good and staff are helpful and friendly. Behaved dogs are allowed into the bar area and outside seating area (which is a bonus when you have dogs). If you don't like and ingredient used to make your dinner, you can get it changed or made specially for you. Deserts are good and service was great.

Great tasting pizza, especially the sauce topping- not the usual. Lloyd very friendly & good at what he does especially as one of our party had VERY limited mobility. Slightly tricky for me to find - I'm used to big cities ! Good tasting pinot grigio. Enjoyable, so definitely go again when next in West Wales & will recommend family do too, so glad friend suggested :-)

This review is well overdue, we visited The Sloop Inn in November 2025, it's now almost the end of February 2026 and I am just submitting a review. I guess it is evidence of a great experience that after 3 months, we still talk about the great food and service and that I still feel it is important to leave a review so other people will know what a great place The Sloop Inn is.
We were staying close by and originally popped in for a a drink and some food. We had a lovely table by the fire, we ordered Guinness, which was expertly poured by Harry (thank you Harry). Harry also gave us some great advice regarding the food on the menu. We all ordered a main and more Guinness. The food was superb, really flavorsome and generous portions.

We also booked for Sunday lunch (booking is a must, it is really busy), 3 of us had roast lamb and one had the hake. All meals were delicious and we were too full for a desert.

The pub has a great atmosphere, the locals were very friendly and Harry was exceptional. Will definitely return if we are in West Wales again.

Thank you team Sloop Inn, the food and service were fantastic.

Had lunch here today, group of 5 with no reservation, they accommodated us in the restaurant area, ordered drinks whilst they made the table. Fantastic service from the lady at the bar and our young server, so friendly and efficient. The choice on the menu is huge as are the portions! All the food, 5 main meals and 3 desserts were delicious and obviously homemade! Definitely local produce. Prices are bonkers reasonable for the quality! Great choice of beers and ciders on tap too! We can't wait to come back, definitely book for evening as this place rightly so is busy! Glad you take walk ins too as we would have missed out! Parking for 2hrs, free outside, which was handy as we had a disabled person in our party.
What a total gem in the middle of H'west⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been to this place a few times. The food is always great, so it's popular which means you need to book before going. They have a new space outside which is fully covered but not heated; as our visit was in late October, we were fine weather wise. However, the service was very slow. Being in the outside space meant we were a bit forgotten, so it took prompting for the staff to take our order. Then, the food arrived a bit too early as we hadn't finished our starters when our mains arrived. They do offer good quality food, so definitely worth a visit.

Here for lunch of Gammon and chips, meal was good value as the gammon was a large piece, just wish it had been cooked abit more it was abit chewy, service was prompt and friendly.

Warm Service & Beautiful Spot

We really enjoyed our stay—so much so that we extended an extra night! The service was a real highlight (thanks Maisie and the team!) and the food was absolutely spectacular.

The campsite is lovely: green, well-kept, and spotlessly clean amenities (and hot, hot showers - divine).
Locals are friendly and welcoming.
While there’s a bit of morning noise from cars and birds, everything that can be controlled is done beautifully. Would happily return!

We have just visited the St Bride's pub this evening as a couple whilst on our second day of a week long visit to Little Heaven and what a lovely surprise, the whole experience was lovely, our pre booked table was ready and waiting for us, the service from the staff was excellent and the food was too die for, we both had the 3 fish roast which was delicious, we will definitely revisit the pub again before our week's holiday is over.
