Bar • “Unusual pub with only 2 lagers on tap both from eastern europe, real ale served by gravity, straight from the cask, a very nice pint of Bass. A wide variety of wines were available, didn't try the food so I can't express an opinion.”
Bar • “We visit this pub every time we are in the area. It is our ‘port in a storm’ literally! The food is always great and service is wonderful. This time we lost power at our holiday cottage so with no power and no phone reception they welcomed us and, as well as a lovely meal and a warm fire, they allowed me to use their phone and charge mine, and were lovely to our two young children.Thoroughly recommend! See you next time!”
Bar • “Popped in here for food one evening, everywhere was very busy but we were lucky to find a table in the bar. No booking, first come, first serve.Had the fish basket myself which was lovely, very filling with just the fish and salad. Unless you eat a lot, don't order chips if you don't like wasting food.Only thing we'd complain about was that the waffle we had for dessert was solid in the middle and we unfortunately couldn't finish it.Otherwise, lovely country pub with smiley staff. Would go again.”

“It's very friendly welcoming when you step tho the door. The staff are very helpful an don't rush you to order your meal. Food is lovely and you get what you ordered. Friendly great service and down to earth well weath a visit. Thinking of booking next month, it's that good. .Parking: It's right outside, so not mush walking at all.”
