Food and atmosphere were great. The service at my table was also great but the staff were running around laid back otherwise which I saw disrupted other patrons.

Well what can I say only amazing .Thank you Debbie for being the best host anyone could wish for ,your hospitality was above and beyond . You are the best cook I have ever come across, your food was the best I have ever had ,vegatarian at that , nothing was a problem for you .Your house was immaculate ,but homely at the same time. The riding off road brilliant our horses had the time of their lives like we did .Thank you so much we will be back next year for sure .Oh and thank you Sue for our massage treatments so so good and very relaxing enough said .

Lovely place for a pint, excellent service and the locals where brilliant.

Definitely be calling in again when in the area.

The Druid Inn

We didn't have food, only popped in for a drink but was pleasantly surprised. The place was lovely, staff were so accommodating and the food smelt delicious. We will return to try the food another time. A lovely area outside to sit and it's quite the suntrap.

Britannia Inn Halkyn

Called in for lunch with the dog (pip) walked in and was greeted by a big smile from a member of staff
We ordered some food and drinks which was to be honest Delicious my curry was piping hot and being veggie was full of vegetables
My wife had the pea risotto which in her word amazing
With a couple of beers ( I was not driving ??) to wash it all down
We had a very enjoyable lunch

Abit about the food

Burgers are always good feel quite weighty incredibly filling and not greasy.

Fries are always cooked well and not greasy.

Wraps are incredibly filling and feel weighty.

Donna meat is very nice not too greasy as donna meat goes. lamb Shish meat is very well prepared tastes very nice.

Chicken burger is nice, its quite a standard item so hard to review

Salad is always very good taste nice, pitta is always cooked good too.

So overall compared to other kebab places I been. You eat here and actually enjoy the food and feel like you had a good meal and not a cheap one

Overall I highly recommend it.

The Market Cross - JD Wetherspoon

We called in for a quick drink to see how the place was, now that it's under new management. The staff were very welcoming & helpful and the prices were fantastic.
Being a wine drinker, the reason I couldn't give 5 stars, is that the selection of wines is quite small. All in all, though, a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be going again!

Burger King

After breaking down on the dual carriageway in the wind and rain, we were towed here and the service we got was amazing. We had some food and were able to stay warm and dry as long as we needed. I didn’t catch their names but the shift manager really took care of us, and the girl on shift with him was also lovely. Never had such good customer service, let alone in a fast food restaurant, so I had to leave a review to highlight the awesome staff here.

Its a hit and miss, sometimes its amazing other times not so great. I like their chicken tikka masala made extra spicy and the dansak .I usually have my own rice or chapatis.
