My partner and I visited today. He is a coeliac and was pleased to find that he was offered a separate gluten free menu with a good range of options. He chose the breakfast, which he really enjoyed. I ordered a cheese and mushroom omelette, which was delicious. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was prepared to order. We shall definitely return.

The food was nice and the place was tidy and most of the staff were friendly, the downside was even though it was fairly quiet we had to wait over half an hour for a takeout order (I dont mind that but it did seem excessive) but more importantly when ordering i asked for an extra sausage on mine and the owner lady said "so you want 3 sausages on your breakfast" it was very condescending and made me feel very uncomfortable as the tone was unpleasant, this is the same lady who upset my son the last time we came here, she had a go at him for going to the wrong door (staff area, but it was just a mistake) when he needed the bathroom and really upset him, so i will not be going to this cafe again as this lady needs to learn how to treat customers!Vegetarian options: good selection of vegetarian options

Often stop here whilst cycling. They always look after us well, food and coffee good and sensible prices.

My kids had a decent sized pizza lunch with an ice cream sundae, i had a medium breakfast and a coffee. Nice staff, good food, healthy portions, enjoyed the decor and the antiques shop attached.Kid-friendliness: The boys were treated well, and they had their own menus.

This is not a fast food cafe! It does have table service, friendly staff and good food.

Awful service, waited nearly 1 hour for small breakfast. Later customer served first. Food seemed as if it was rewarmed from yesterday. Egg was hard, bacon was burnt, toast was black. Food was luke warm and coffee barely tepid.Should have realised it would be bad when I found the place empty whilst other cafe was full and bustling.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.Complaint fell on deaf ears and not acknowledged.

We visited time for tea as every time we have passed it is always busy We walking in and was greeted by a lovely smell of grease and it was very smoky signs on way in says please wait to be seated the young person who was behind the counter took no interest so we decided to just sit down and was then side eyed we had faggots and mash and scampi and chips both were £13.50 we waited over 40 minutes in grease and smoke the food arrived scampi and chips were lovely but the Sausage and mash well i dont think it would have filled a child it was served in the smallest BOWL I have ever seen and was over flowing on to the sides the table wasnt the cleanest like a pub at the end of the night very sticky

6 of us popped in for a quick coffee but when everyone saw the menu they couldn’t resist ordering food too We were served by a lovely young man, he got our orders quickly and served our drinks swiftly There was a delay for the food to arrive but quite understandable as there is a notice saying they were understaffed so there would be a delay. ( so obviously not their fault, we should help these businesses that are struggling for staff at the moment and not condemn them for it) The quality of the food was great and freshly made Will definitely call in again if in Kidwelly

At the very beginning it was easy to like this little tea room/cafe.Free parking is available in a small car park, behind the opposite row of buildings so don't let the endless double yellows put you off.The cafe itself appears to be run by locals of the younger generation and that is well worth supporting. The small negatives first; the sign was accidentally left saying "closed" and the 5 meal order didn't all arrive at once. The bathrooms could have been a little tidier, but we're by no means off-putting.Now on to the positives; the service was, at all times, courteous and friendly, especially towards the young children. The menu is made up of lots of fresh and local produce with 'traditional Welsh" breakfast, various toasted options, cakes and bakes etc.I chose poached egg on toast which I am happy to tell you, was very tasty and properly cooked, the eggs were nicely sized and choices of toasted bread was offered. Tea is served in delightful little teapots and matched the food perfectly.Prices here are very reasonable, with plenty of choice.Definitely worth another visit next time.

I visited whilst on holiday at Parkdean Carmarthen Bay. I ordered a slice of the lovely looking coffee and walnut cake in the cabinet, but when it came to table they’d coveted it in caramel sauce (which I hadn’t asked for).. when I told the owner i didn’t like sauce, she just smiled and said ‘oh’… then when she saw my son take a mouthful of it, she said well he likes it! A simple replacement slice was all that was needed to keep a customer happy… but she wasn’t bothered about a disappointed customer
