“Cosy warm pub and the staff are genuinely chatty and friendly. Food was so filling I could only manage 1 course. And came away with a lovely candle holder from the table that they were happy to haggle over in a convivial way. Well worth the trip

“The food,the drink and staff was really good . The rooms was clean but needed upgrading. The only thing is the smell in the rooms!. They know about it because they keep the doors and windows open with unoccupied room. That was really the only negative part on staying there.Parking: Really good parking.”

“Absolutely fantastic. We'd been on the road all day moving a horse, we were tired, hungry and grouchy. Walked in late in the evening, no booking and they accommodated us perfectly. Food was brilliant and the family that run the place are lovely! 100% couldn't recommend enough ?
