The Cottage Inn has always been an excellent Pub, B&B. But struggled during covid and its most popular landlord passed away last year.I visited twice this year and it didn't disappoint excellent food and beers, attentive staff and great value for money. The Cottage Inn is definitely back on its way of being in the top 10 of Welsh pubs. Well done the new owners.

We stopped in for Sunday lunch, the chef/landlord was on hand serving from the carvery, food was piping hot, the beef, turkey were done to perfection ? gravy thick and tasty, we could not fault anything, so much so we drove up to try the fish and chips a week later and that was beautiful, hot and plentiful. If you are looking for fresh filling wholesome food and a clean crisp pint while out on your travels, pop in ...We will definitely be back

Just had a lovely weekend break here with our 3 dogs , we can't fault anything , had everything we needed and all floors in our room laminate or tiled so we didn't have to worry about muddy paw prints ruining carpets . Bed was so comfy , everything clean and fresh . Drinks available in room . Breakfast was lovely and coffee was beautiful not bitter just nice mellow . Took away some homemade cakes . Will definitely stay again it's perfect place for us to stop at on way down to relatives , all the more so for welcoming dogs .

Very quiet but nice surroundings, ideal for a meal and a family chat. Service was good but obviously not experienced at a busy time.

In a quaint inn, I savored delicious fare and partook in merry drinks, while the innkeeper and their staff were as friendly as companions on a noble quest. The accommodations were as comfortable as a knight's respite from a treacherous journey. My stay was most enjoyable, and I would gladly recommend this place to all fellow travelers and wanderers.

Fantastic family run business, great food for good prices. My favourite was the variety of breakfast menu and soup of the day. Free off street parking and lively staff.
