“Friendly, polite staff. £7.55 for medium chips and mini cod. Chips were paler than I like but acceptable. Fish was more cooked than I like, a little chewy, but also acceptable. I stopped here because I was half way through a 4 hour car journey on a Sunday evening and wanted somewhere that I could get food quickly. Would call here again.”

“A very warm welcome in a traditional cafe. Lovely food. Simple but well cooked and very tasty. There is something homely about ham, egg, chips and beans. Lovely Welsh brew tea in a tea pot with proper China cups and saucers. We had a lovely break on our long journey and will probably stop here on the way home too.”
