Just been here for fish and chips for the first time, it was the best fish and chips I have eaten in years! Absolutely lovely cosy pub. Would highly recommend.

Gwarcefel Arms has come home to roost. Food was really good for the price, service was extremely good! Busy like it was with Huw and Jackie and nice to see the locals ! Very welcoming indeed locals and staff. Whilst on our hols popped in as it was the local pub to where we were staying. Hoping to get food one evening but we'd missed their food hours so the bar man was very helpful by recommending another pub to us aswell as ringing through to see if they still had food on and checked if they had space for us which was really appreciated, my other half said well you don't get that back home and to be honest shes not wrong by saying that ?. However we did manage to stop for food one night and we weren't disappointed. I got a lovely chicken korma with half n half chips/rice and my other half had fish and chips which was a lovely piece of meaty fish with drinks. All in all, very reasonably priced honest food and drink. Will visit again when we visit Wales again.Kid-friendliness: They was a couple of well behaved children so guess they are child friendlyParking: Parking is at the back of the pubWheelchair accessibility: The only steps I saw was from carpark to beer garden but you can get to the beer garden threw the pub were there isn't any steps

Fantastic pub. Fantastic people. Fantastic food.It really is a great little spot if you want to find an old school venue for pub grub. Pool table and a gambling machine give it proper pub vibes. It’s not a polished weatherspoons type venue - thankfully! You’ll find a great selection of beers and ales, as well as plenty of non alcoholic drinks and nibbles. The food menu is proper pub grub and it’s really tasty. Attended as a group of 5, we all had different meals and everyone was more than happy.Kid-friendliness: Fantastic family run pub - the kids loved it, they take great care to explain that the plates are hot and make a fuss of the kids. Great stuff.Parking: There’s space for probably 25 cars in the car park, great space.

Came here on friday evening with a large group of friends. Great atmosphere and we had a basic but very good and very good value for money bar meal. There is also a good and very reasonably priced restaurant menu. Wife and I booked for sunday lunch. We attended today for as booked 2.15. Place was very busy but we were met and seated straight away without fuss. Drinks order swiftly taken at table and brought very quickly despite volume of people. Food order taken within five minutes a choice of turkey or beef or a bit of both, we opted for both. The dinner came swiftly and the bit of both was actualy a very good portion of meat, both were excellent. Lots of vegetables, roasties, mash, yorky pud, stuffing etc etc etc. Seperate gravy and we were asked if we wanted more gravy, a nice touch. Be very hungry if you go for sunday lunch. To sum up Superb smiley staff Good beers Great food Great prices
