First time purchasing food from Crisp & Fry and it will be the last. Considering you have allegedly won awards for your business I've honestly had better, much better!. Your fish batter was undercooked and soggy, the chips were tasteless and your rissoles were inedible. £32 in total we spent with you today, it wasn't worth half that and the portions you provide are a cheek for the prices you charge. To other reviewers of this establishment if you rate the food here you really do need to try elsewhere. Never again.

Had sausage and chips with fruity curry sauce for three adults. Great friendly service. Food was hot and cooked just right. Reasonable sized large portion of chips but use to larger. The curry sauce was fruity sweet with a slight hot kick. Place looked very clean and tidy. Definitely will return.

Eagerly anticipated visiting as states online theat they do Gluten free fish & chips. Queued up and confirmed Gluten free fish & chips etc on the menu board but when we got to the front we were told they no longer serve them and haven’t for months. So why is it still on their menu? Really disappointing. If you’re looking for Gluten free do not go here.Dietary restrictions: Do not cater any more despite being on the menu

Staff was friendly but gender equality was missing in staff proportion, secondly fish was a little more normal oily(in other words oil was dripping out of it)Parking: For those who don’t know, Parking is behind the shop

Tasty food and very quick service for a Saturday night.

Fantastic chips and the rissole was the best. Check how fresh the battered sausage is before buying it

Bought same food twice within 5 days, charged different amount. A young lady served us on Saturday, she was lovely and so was the food. Today's food, I ordered a large chips, portion was very small, the sausages were over cooked and there wasn't much batter on the sausage.

Sadly, service is very hit and miss, as is the food. My last visit approx a month ago, lovely service, and freshly cooked food. Today, impatient and curt service compiled by the staff turning to talk to each other immediately the food had been passed over, not even acknowledging our thanks. Food was edible.

The best fish and chips I've had in the UK.

Fish was rock solid.Rude and awful service. I always ask for a fresh fish and it's the only chippy I've ever been to where they say but the one in there is fresh and always question me asking. Rest of the chippy's never even question me asking for a fresh fish as its the normal thing to do. Nobody even cooks a fish and leaves it in there these days as chippys always have a sign saying all fish cooked fresh. Everyone knows that when a fish is out and left in there for more than a minute then it tastes like cardboardWhenever I turn up I can always see and hear them huffing as they know I'm going to ask for a fresh fish.Went today and someone was about to put a fish in for me and another staff member said don't put that 1 in and put this in as its smaller and she looked over at me after she said it. I was right as the rest of the fishes came out when I was there and they were all bigger than me and my families one's.It's always the same staff member who says I'm not putting a fish in, when I walk in and huffs and rolls her eyes.
I was really looking forward to my Fish n Chips after a long journey south. Sadly the chips were anaemic and didn't taste great. The fish was fine.

Poor portion sizes. Other chippies are worth visiting. Tried a couple of times but it’s more dissatisfying than satisfying

Called in today 16 6 23, good, fish was crispy, chips ok, but please clean the black spots off the spuds before frying. My daughter loves the curry sauce. Nice. Will be back.

Love the chips and the service! Bank Holiday and they were serving with a smile after 11 hours on the go. Thank you!
