Gone down hill recently,, had rank chips there a few weeks ago but decided to give it another go but sadly another below average delivery.Spent over £25 on loaded fries which were swimming in bbq sauce, coleslaw and pizza had better in Iceland ?

Tried twice to order on line. Charged twice, but guess what no food delivered.The food is lovely but the system to order it is rubbish. This aspect of the service needs to be improved as it is just not worth doing, and is frustrating.

Chips put up before chicken cooked so we're nearly cold, chicken overcooked and hard gave the dog most of it! The curry sauce was very thin and watery.Parking: Very difficult to park

Mel’s is the best. The food is always hot, the service is great and what they do for the community at large is above and beyond. Honestly get down there and get your chips!

Top notch, best chippy in the area, along with the Mermaid, but then it's run by the same family, will deliver locally. Baked spuds as well. Oh and they do pizzas as well. What's not to like?!
