Always love this place. We feel welcomed and at home every time we come. Staff are always busy but they still take the time to give great customer service. The food is absolutely great and awesome value for the money. Will be returning ASAP

I should have learnt my lesson the last time it was awful here. But I gave a second try. I stood here for over 10 mins waiting to be served at the “wait here to be seated” sign. The man at bar was serving a large group but he made no attempt to acknowledge me. He even ignored me. Another staff member came To bar seen me and also ignored me! Clearly i didn’t want a table and was stood there for nothing! In the end I gave up and went somewhere with better service! Will never come here again!

The Hungry Horse is a bustling place, however the staff give you that personal touch. Always polite, well dressed. I have come here with my family regularly and the consistency and quality of the food is excellent, prices are reasonable. I book my table but they try their best to accommodate you if you haven't.

Genuinely one of my favourite places to go for food. Warm welcome by friendly staff every time. Comfy and good atmosphere. And the food is great and good value too. Highly recommend. Easy parking and public transport too. Just on the edge of town centre.

Indifferent staff. Tables left uncleared and dirty. Food very poor. Cheeseburger with tiny amount of cheese. Mac and cheese was basically a bowl of runny cheese sauce and non existent pasta. Onion rings not cooked properly. Waitress failed to tell us we had to order at the bar so that delayed things and if they bring food to you surely cutlery should be brought to you too. Very poor experience and one i will NOT repeat. Far better places to eat locally than there

Went here last night for food before cinema I ordered from the Xmas menu had the holiday burger only ate few bits from it I had send it back it's was soggy couldn't go cinema as I was feeling sick after couple bites and when I got home I kept being sick and still today being won't ever be coming back plus first time goin there awful they nice enough to give me a refund tho

Booked online which was simple process, friendly welcome when we arrived, ordered at the bar which was easy enough. Starterscame quite quickly which was good. Had combo plate starter which was great and tasty. Only gripe was that main course turned up before the starters were cleared away so had problems with space on the table. Quickly resolved. Staff were very friendly and nice. Food was good quality and portion size. Can't really knock it for a reasonable price. Good experience, will be back.

Arrived here at about 8pm on a Saturday. Was fairly empty asked if we could sit on a particular table were told by a waitress she would have to check with the manager. The manager came over and said that as there was only two of us we would have to sit on a small two person table as they were keeping the four tables even though there were plenty spare. Never been told this before and shortly later the restaurant emptied out even more, when people in couples arrived later they just sat where they liked unchallenged. Nice drink, this particular manager needs to update her customer service skills won't be going back made to feel awful.
