Had a Saturday lunch for my birthday, it was very busy, our waitress was rushed off her feet, felt sorry for her everyone asking her, where does this go,where is this, food was average and sorry too say it was too expensive gor what we had

Here on holiday and booked in the restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Arrived to find a wedding party taking place with 250 guests. The place was a shambles. My wife ordered steak which when it came was as tough as old boots. Far too busy to check with us. We did complain and was offered a bottle of wine as compensation. Little help for the fact that our celebration meal was totally spoilt. Won't ever go there again and would certainly not recommend it. Gave one star only because that was the lowest option.

Not been here before, what a lovely venue. Food was delicious, well presented and served by a lovely friendly server. It is rare I leave food but I could not of eaten another bite. The lovely gentle piano music in the background was so nice and relaxing. We eill definately be returning here.

Called for lunch this week, I don't know why but never been before even though we've always known about it. What a lovely find. Excellent food at a fair price. Lovely environment and nice staff. We will definitely return

See hotel review for a full review. The menu is large and varied that should cover all tastes. I feel the starters and desserts however are expensive. The food quality was good but £6.95 for a dessert [£8.95 for the cheese plate] especially with the portion size, is excessive. The cheapest wine apart from the special starts at £16.95. The staff was attentive and helpful nothing was too much for them.

Dreadful. Starters came 20 minutes apart from 1st to last served and all cold. BBQ main course... Well let's just say had much better in the hungry horse for quarter the price. Should be ashamed of the service. Honestly, don't do reviews just had to on this as it was so bad. 6 people £150+ all 6 dissapointed. We complained and the answer... We are busy and rushed off our feet.. Fantastic response from owner following this review tbf.

Beautiful Sunday lunch take away!! Mashed potato was amazing as was the rest of the veg!! Plenty of food and piping hot!! Separate veggie gravy also!! Highly recommend a take away Sunday dinner!! Will definitely order again!!!❤️
