We went in here today with our two labradors while we are here on holiday and what a lovely find. The place was spotlessly clean, friendly with welcoming owners and great value for money food. We'll probably be in again before we go home.
Stopped off for a drink after a walk around the forest and beach and what a little gem. The pub obviously serves the locals but as a visitor it was one of the nicest friendliest pubs I’ve been too. Didn’t feel like an outsider as the landlady, bar staff and customers were so welcoming. Great collection of guitars and gold discs adorning the walls too.Would definitely return!

Great local pub, Sam & Alyson all ways make you feel welcome. Great food and lovely beer especially the Hells. Favorite pub on the island, will be back again and again.

Food and drink, great value, matched only by the locals in the pub who will make you feel at home. Keep coming back and will continue to do soKid-friendliness: One of the owners is a mother herself and loves to see kids of any ages. As for Sam, he's the biggest kid of all.

Very friendly pub. Drinks only today, dog friendly. As its their quieter season, able to eat fish and chips bought from the village Codmother. Recommended x.Parking: Free car park around the corner.

We stayed nearby and loved this pub that we visited every day! Sam and Alyson made us (and our little dog Hollie) so welcome. We ate there several times in the week and the food was delicious. Alyson even treated Hollie to a sausage and made a huge fuss of her. There isn't a bad word we could say about this place. The food, the selection of drinks, the atmosphere, the staff and the customers were all brilliant. Well worth a visit, we will certainly return!

Great little local Pub, landlord has lot of Signed memorabilia on the walls, dog plaques, funny pub joke signs. Food was good, was busy, as bank holiday got In early so got one last tables before got packed. Drinks well priced, and the staff were witty and friendly.Vegetarian options: Yes has vegetarian meals, parking wasn't best but managed to find outside parking across from the pub..
