Thank you Chloe, Jim, Margie and all the team for always providing such fabulous food, an excellent selection of drinks, a brilliant atmosphere and live music is never too far away! We recently had a Sunday roast for 10 of us, and the lunch was delicious, with all the trimmings! Service as always was brilliant! My husband and I also got married in the village this summer and the pub were so welcoming to our guests who headed to the pub on their arrival! The pub hosted us for a Roast dinner but this time around 30 of us attended, again everyone was so impressed by the lunch! We also had live music in the afternoon which was fab! The Angel inn is the best pub!!

I cannot recommend the Angel highly enough. The food and service is absolutely superb. My partner and I had dinner cooked by Jim the chef, the very best pub burger ever. My partner had Ginger salmon dish which she also said was superb, the accompanying salad beautifully fresh. Our best pub food by a country mile. Great selection of real ale, recommend the Butty Bach. Also joined in with some local musicians for a jam. Guitar selection in the pub, if you’re up for it. Lovely log fire. The most welcoming pub you could wish for. High praise for Chloe too, the landlady who made us feel like locals.

Fabulous roast dinner for a family party of 30 following our sons wedding! The food was outstanding with excellent service. Lovely little pub, we would highly recommend a visit here! The best roast dinner we've had a long time!

Lovely meal at The Angel - the twice-baked cheese soufflé was perfection; yummy Spanish seafood stew too. Others had the chicken liver parfait, beef burger, and veggie pasta (which looked amazing, and plenty of it), all really good. Sadly no room for the puds except one sneaky ice-cream. Excellent value and delicious wines too. Such a great village pub - buzzy and friendly, but still laid-back vibes. Perfect evening.

A lovely country village pub, most certainly the hub of the Grosmont community. It was a beautiful day so we sat out the beer garden with our Gwynt y Draig cider and a couple of bags of crisps. There was a mix of locals and families with children of all ages and dogs. A really vibrant but chilled atmosphere. The menu looked incredible and when we return, we will participate in a good meal. It’s certainly a recommendation to stop off here if you visit the castle and/or church.

As someone living in Manchester & who visits the Ribble Valley regularly (which prides itself on Gastro pub food), this is without doubt the best Sunday Roast I have had in YEARS. Amazingly good value. Top quality beef, massive portions, delicious veg (incl Asparagus & Tenderstem Broccoli) not to mention the roasties, gravy and yorkshires. MUST eat here.
