“As we walked in off the street, without a reservation, we were greeted with a smile but an empty restaurant.A real log fire adds to the ambience and keeps the place comfortably warm.The food was amazing, wife had curried chicken and I had the steak and kidney pudding, the gravy was AMAZING!.Would definitely recommend going in if you're hungry and in the area.”

“Well what can I say? The coffee was really good, but becasue there is no signal there, they only take cash and we only had enough carpark pounds in the car for a drink. So the delicious range of homemade soups, cakes, pies and pasties re main a mystery and we went home hungry :(”

“I come here every week or so to get my needed chippy ? The service could be way better. I usually order on the app and get it to pick up, however, when I get there as the app says it’s ready to pick up, after 10-20 minutes of waiting and the food is still never ready. They are usually just standing there not doing much as you can clearly see the food is ready in the food warmers and plenty of chips to be serving people, but for some reason they make you wait another 10-20 minutes when you get there even though they say it will only be a maximum of 5.

Apart from this the food is delicious and they give you decent sized servings for the price. Only thing that needs to be improved is the customer service.”
