Tyle House Cl, Llanmaes, Llantwit MajorThis 'pub has changed a lot over the decades. My first visit was in 1967, as I recall.
It now seems to be mostly a regulars' place but, as a non-regular, I was served swiftly, which was just as well because it was a sweltering July day and I had walked from Llandow. The bitter was refreshingly cold but too cold for normal Welsh weather perhaps.
No food taken so no comments.

Wine St, Llantwit MajorLovely pub and friendly staff. Had a lovely snack sat outside ciabata rolls which came with chips and salad. Much bigger than we thought. It was very good and well worth the price. Can't review hotel or rooms as just popped in for a drink and food. Well.wlrth it though.

The Green The Square, St Athan, BarryFantastic Chinese food! We order from here everytime. We have other takeaways closer to us but this is by far the best around the area.
The food is amazing and I highly recommend the salt and chilli prawns.
Friendly staff and always quick to collect.
He food is always delicious. Won't go anywhere else!

Eagleswell Rd, Boverton, Llantwit MajorA real hidden gem! The Boverton Castle pub has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is brilliantly dog friendly, which makes it even better. The staff are absolutely lovely – friendly, attentive, and really make you feel at home.
If you’re looking for a cosy spot with great service and a relaxed vibe, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

Compton House, East St, Llantwit MajorVisited in July for twin birthdays with sister we had visited once before both occasions food was delightful hot and tasty service is lovely one of the nicest restaurants in the vale we eat varied dishes including a mixed Biriani and chicken korma and a spiced meat curry.

5 Pound Field, Llantwit MajorUsed Lubna's for many years now. Always quality food. Delivery normally under 30 mins. Always enjoy my favourite order, House Special Biryani with plain Madras sauce, Chicken Chat Starter, Chips, poppa doms and Mint sauce. Thanks everyone at Lubna's for your efforts and also the delivery drivers who are always pleasant.

Big Sams
15 Boverton Rd, Llantwit MajorI come here every week or so to get my needed chippy ? The service could be way better. I usually order on the app and get it to pick up, however, when I get there as the app says it’s ready to pick up, after 10-20 minutes of waiting and the food is still never ready. They are usually just standing there not doing much as you can clearly see the food is ready in the food warmers and plenty of chips to be serving people, but for some reason they make you wait another 10-20 minutes when you get there even though they say it will only be a maximum of 5.
Apart from this the food is delicious and they give you decent sized servings for the price. Only thing that needs to be improved is the customer service.
