the Corner by SITI
Commercial St, Llantwit MajorWe went to Corner by Siti for their balinese taster night for valentines day and the food was incredible. We had so much food, tried new things, there was a mix of everything and it was something we had never experienced before, right in the middle of Llantwit Major. You could bring your own bottle of wine, free corkage, and the complimentary rose was a treat. Highly recommended!

Shop 4, Boverton Brk, BovertonLiterally the best fish and chips around. Can get busy, pre order recommended. Sometimes closed when you're not expecting it to be, checky ahead. Why not drive to Llantwit Major beach to eat your food afterwards?!

The Blacksmiths Arms
Tyle House Cl, Llanmaes, Llantwit MajorWe had quite low expectations as it was the only place we could find that was open on a Monday evening. However we were really pleasantly surprised. My family are a tough crowd to please but everyone was really happy with their choices and very complimentary about their food. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The whole meal was really good value for money.

7 Pound Field, Llantwit MajorEasily the best Chinese takeaway not only in Llantwit, but that I've ever had personally. The food is incredibly tasty, the delivery is usually extremely quick, and the service is wonderful with a personal touch! I always recommend a Rodgers when friends and family come to visit. A hidden gem on the menu is the salt and chilli chips!

The Green The Square, St Athan, BarryEasily the nicest Chinese takeaway I've had. My mum lives locally and I come from Cardiff to have this frequently (of course I also like to see Mum ?)The food is consistently of a high quality and always fresh and hot.Our favourites are salt and chilli chicken and salt and chilli chips. Have had numerous dishes including sweet and sour, beef in black bean, special fried rice and again, always so delicious.Worth the 40 minute drive every week ?

The Boverton Castle
Eagleswell Rd, Boverton, Llantwit MajorFisr visit was nice. Simple food cooked well. Wine very nice and service brilliant. Second visit not so good. Decided to just have a drink. The wine that I had on the previous visit was no longer available by the glass. Didn't have shiraz by the glass or Malbec by the glass. No choice but to have Merlot. Not very good. Lady behind the bar was multi tasking being the waitress and the bar man. Saw her carrying several glass in her hands. Her hands or rather fingers inside the glasses. Not very hygienic. The lady behind the bat looked as dated as the bar and restaurant areas. I thought it was under new management but they seem to be still looking for new tenants. Lovely location with a small car park. Would be a wonderful restaurant in the right hands. Would not visit again.

The Tudor Tavern, Llantwit MajorHaven't been for many years and pleasantly surprised. Had a couple of drinks, dog friendly and the prices were very reasonable compared to the other pubs in the town. Much cheaper!

5 Pound Field, Llantwit MajorUsed Lubna's for many years now. Always quality food. Delivery normally under 30 mins. Always enjoy my favourite order, House Special Biryani with plain Madras sauce, Chicken Chat Starter, Chips, poppa doms and Mint sauce. Thanks everyone at Lubna's for your efforts and also the delivery drivers who are always pleasant.

A bit basic and rough around the edges but better than nothing - there is actually nothing else.The views are what you need to focus on because they were lovely so make sure you sit outside. There is indoor seating but you lose those views and then it's back to 'basic and rough around the edges'.The cake was a tad dry but still tasty.If I remember correctly it was cash only.Parking: The unpaved parking is just a short walk away and it's free and plentiful. Those with reduced mobility need to take care over the unpaved / loose surface.

Meal deals are great, good price foodWheelchair users visiting alone may struggle ordering due to layout of goods near the till. But plenty of space to get in and around tables.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options available and clearly markedDietary restrictions: All special dietary restrictions and options are clear with a good selectionParking: At busy times it can be difficult to park. No true street parking, just designated spaces nearby. At busy times it can be just luck to find a space close by.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for kids to choose. Kids seating available and good access for pushchairs.Wheelchair accessibility: Good access into the shop, also a good layout for wheelchairs at the table. Due to layout of the tills it can be hard to navigate if you are buying in a wheelchair.

Jaipur Of Llantwit Major
Compton House, East St, Llantwit MajorMoved to the area recently so needed to try a new Indian restaurant. We are quite shocked at how nice the food was, my lamb was very tender and the sauce had a nice flavour, only down side was the sauce was quite watery. The gentleman who delivered the food was very friendly and made conversation with us.Would definelty recommend ordering from here :-)

Big Sams
15 Boverton Rd, Llantwit MajorWe stayed at nash point camping and rang big sams for a delivery. It was no problem for them, within an hour we were eating our delicious tea, I had fish and chips and my wife had a pizza. Absolutely outstanding. Would highly recommend.Thanks Big Sam's.

Major Kebab & Pizza House
East St, Llantwit MajorGot a large chicken kebab and chips. The salad included coleslaw which was a nice bonus. Very good and guy was friendly. Will be coming back again next time I’m in town.
