Food arrived cold. 1 slice of beef on dinner and hardly any vegetables. A shame because such a nice pub.

We went her for a family meal and my word. Restaurant Quailty food at pub prices. The food was stunning and beautifully presented. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is friendly with a warm cosy feeling. Can’t wait to come

A very Olde Worlde pub, with beams and nooks and crannies. A good selection of beers and a more modern and light dining area offering a selection of well cooked food.

Our favourite pub! Never had anything but an exceptionally fab meal, great choice of drinks and the staff are the nicest you'll find. The regulars are always friendly, the fire is cozy and you can book into the restaurant at the back for big family meals if you don't want to eat in the bar.Always recommended.

We just love TheOld Swan. It's friendly, well run and has a chef and team who know a thing or two about cooking local food well. My steak last night was perfect and sourced locally through the farm and butchers. The two different beers I enjoyed were both well kept and excellent. Thank you Charlie and team. We and many others are appreciative of what you offer here in Llantwit.

Lovely little pub cosey and warm in front of the fire. Myself and my fiancee enjoyed one of the nicest Sunday roasts we’ve ever had sided with a nice pint of staropramen and a red wine. I had the braised beef dinner and the beef was just simply cooked to perfection! My fiancee at the chicken and I have to be honest I’ve never tasted chicken so good! If we are in the area again we will 100% return!

Lovely Sunday lunch, got a table for 4 at short notice with the dogs. Great service, great food. The beef was tender and tasty, the vegan nut roast was reportedly very good also. All accompaniments were excellent. ????Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options were offered.

Christmas Day. The goose was tough and cold. If you can't cook it don't put it on the menu. The manager couldn't clear the plates of uneaten food and had to tell "the girls" to do it. Bit sexist! We sat there with the bad meals in front of us for 15 minutes. Bad management and bad food.Happy Christmas ?

Beautiful historic pub, great food and charming service. Imaginative range of cask beers including some stout, ESB, etc. Would love to spend an evening in here by the wood burnerVegetarian options: Veggie options availableParking: Parking across the street behind the Town Hall

Food is usually excellent in the Old Swan, but this time it was very disappointing. My friend had a turkey dinner which he said was OK - the plate looked half empty to me. My fish was about 3" long, served with three hard pieces of potato and some (delicious!) red cabbage. Very very disappointing and certainly not worth the money.

Made a reservation for 4 people 2 weeks in advance for 2.30 pmAs soon as we walked in I could tell by the face of the barman it wasn’t going to be straight forward especially when he said he’d go and see his managerHe came back to tell us the kitchen closes at 2.30 pmWHY TAKE A BOOKING FOR 2.30pm ?professionally you would speak to your staff, explain there’s a mistake on the booking and look after the customers already booked in and deal with time owing etc to your staff afterIn this day and age you would think people couldn’t afford to turn the trade away ……The manager didn’t even come out and told the barman to tell us the kitchen closes at 2.30 pmDefinitely won’t return especially after travelling from Llanelli and spoiling our day bridal shopping with my daughterAfter speaking to the manager eventually over the phone he did say he rang on the morning of the reservation, clearly I didn’t get the message on timeIt’s a shame he didn’t make the effort to cancel the booking sooner rather than on the morning of reservationExtremely disappointing

We were staying in the village and the taxi driver recommended this place for a bite to eat! Great recommendation as we both had superb meals (vegan curry & aubergine tagliatelle) and such a welcoming staff team! Really enjoyed our visit and would very much recommend!

As a wheelchair user my experience was awful. The beer garden was all stoney little peɓbles that you can't push a chair over and worse of all no disabled toilet, not even grab rails in the normal toilet if I could've got there. We had one drink and left, until they realise they need more accessibility for disabled customers we won't visit again. Shame really because we would've stayed longer. .
