We recently stayed at Dolgelynen 20 years ago and this was our first time back since. It is a beautiful location with stunning views over the dyfi river and valley.Mrs Evans is a very friendly and welcoming person on arrival you get a traditional Welsh welcome with refreshments and home made Welsh cakes before showing you to your room.It is a traditional farmhouse that is unchanged from the last time we visited, Mrs Evans takes great pride in offering customer satisfaction right throughout it is immaculately clean, the beds are amazingly comfortable and the Welsh breakfast is delicious. We love this place and look forward to our next visit again.I would highly recommend anyone to visit and enjoy the experience

A lovely stay in this beautiful 300 year old farmhouse,. Stunning scenery, comfy rooms and great breakfast. The hostess, Mrs Evans, is very warm and welcoming, greeting you with home-baked cake!

This is the third time we have stayed with Elinor - you will not receive a better welcome than you do at Dolgelynen. A friendly bunch of dogs will rush to say hello on arrival followed quickly by Elinor. There's always bara brith waiting in your room and fresh milk if you want it to go with a cuppa. All facilities excellent (bed mattresses lovely and firm) and breakfast cooked to perfection. Views stunning. We will keep going back.

This is by far the best B&B anyone could possibly go to.To start, the ensuite bathrooms are luxourios and super clean, with crisp dry practically new towels and onhand soap and shampoo, the toilet is extremely clean and well sanitised and has a fan implanted in the ceiling for good air circulation.Secondly,The bedrooms are unimaginably clean and tidy, the beds made to perfection with memoryfoam pillows, regular pillows and a cosy duvet, and a miniature TV to keep company if raining outside, next to the window lies a little tray of packets of coffee granules, herbal tea, tea, and hot chocolate with mini milk pots and a jar of sugar, a kettle, mugs, glasses and two teapots. And lastlyThe views are spectacular, the house is not too far from town and the host is absolutely wonderful, kind and always very happy. I haven't had breakfast as I only got here 1 hour ago, but I've yet to feast on whatever spectacular meal she cooks up.Overall I would most definitely recommend staying at this luxurious and welcoming B&B.5 stars.

A beautiful rustic farmhouse, with cosy fully laiden rooms in a stunning location. Lovely and attentive host.Only thing to note is the road leading up to the property is quite rough so make sure to drive slowly.
