Staff are great. Gotta watch what you pick up as items are not always under the right prices. The price marks are large but the item name on price label is small. There's alot of items that are in wrong section making you believe your having a bargain when infact it's alot more expensive. Can work the other way too though. Fresh fruit is always short date and goes off quicky. Frozen stuff is competitively priced with some really good bargins thrown in. As long as your aware of price/placment issue and check fruit you will definitely find bargins

Great shop to stock up your freezer. They still seem to keep the prices down despite the rising cost of energy.And no way do they deserve a one star rating as given by one reviewer - that's just tosh.

We visit here regularly and are never disappointed. They usually have good deals and I don't find it too expensive. Its always clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Called into farmfoods in merthyr today the prices are over the top staff not very helpful they look depressing rather not go in there again surely staff should be more helpful and friendly when dealing with customers on a day to day basis

Merthyr Tydfil Farmfoods always a good selection of food at reasonable prices. My only complaint is the milk, it's nearly always off no matter what the best before date. 31/7/2022 i've just had to pour out 3x2 litre whole bottles of semi skimmed milk and it's not the first time. No point complaining as this has been a regular for over 2 years, either it's coming to the store off or the fridges at the store aren't suitable to store milk.
