Very comfortable bar with a lovely beer garden. Live music on Saturdays. Landlord and Lady keep a tight ship and they know how to run a bar. , spotless and we'll maintained. Good prices and drinks.

Real gem of a local modern pub in ranch style decor and love of great music. Super hospitable patrons, and friendly locals. Three inside areas, suitable for playing pool/sitting having a drink and back are for sports or remote working :-D Free WiFi. One wish: food was served, then could have unch and an afternoon of pool. Live music from time to time, yet to experience.

I don't want to tell everyone about this hidden gem just in case it gets too busy for when I'm in there next time....but the beer garden out back is probably 1 of the best in Merthyr. Just go and see it for yourself.Beer-wise I had Atlantic Pale Ale which is the best us ale drinkers can expect but they had all the other usual mainstream stuff. I did see a couple of Brewdog cans in the fridge too.
