Indian Restaurants in Merthyr Tydfil

“Honestly the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Not greasy at all, superb flavours, all fresh and you can tell they know what they are doing. Big portions for the price also - pay more for way less food in other restaurants.Staff were friendly and accommodating, we visited on a Saturday night, and it was busy but not loud or rowdy.Highly recommend!”

“Been going to this family run restaurant for most of my life, for years my nan and Grampa been going and has taken all the grandchildren and now we've all grown up and we now take our own children here. Food is always lovely and fresh, ahseek and Ahad can't do enough to make your experience a good one. Love coming here.Parking: If you can't find a space outside there's a car park opposite that is free after 6pm I believeKid-friendliness: No problem with chicken here, family run restaurant, they have high chairs tooWheelchair accessibility: Side doors (which may look like main entrance if you come down the street to it ) has large double doors and is flat”

“Very good and authentic tasting food at correct ‘hotness’.Better than Mango House, in Cefn Coed, which I also feel is pretty decent. It is a bit pricey, especially if you get Chutney Tray and Poppadoms as starters, however, authenticity and quality of food offsets this. I lived in Birmingham previously, 2nd home of curry houses in uk, and this comes close to the better of those.Never a bad meal yet.Parking: Got to park on double yellow lines, but fine for pick up. Need to find side street in village if eating in.”

“Absolutely stunning food. Has to be the best biryani. Staff were fab. Only thing that lets it down was that it needs a refurbishment badly. Will def return.”
