Visiting the area and happened upon this lovely fish, pie and chip shop. You must check opening hours. Very popular - for good reason.Food cooked to order. Hot and fresh. Quick and efficient.(Apologies for the photo. Wanted to get their menu, but as it was so busy, I didn't like to be seen taking photos).[Parking is a challenge, but the local visitors parked with care by the side of the road outside]

I saw it had good reviews and as I was staying at The Antelope hotel a couple of doors away I thought I would have a gander. Popped in at 19:00 hrs, just as they were closing. Not a problem for them. Had Hake, chips and Chinese curry sauce. I really enjoyed the meal. Would recommend. The 2nd only chip shop that I have bought from that had pepper as an alternative to heart attack salt! The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language differences between Welsh and the East Midlands! Would recommend, and will revisit on my next annual pilgrimage to the Brecons.

Really good fish and chips. This was large fish (no kidding) with small chips. Chicken curry was full of large pieces of proper chicken. Lunch lite bite looked far from light!

The fish and chips were some of the best I ever had.The standard cod size was huge!The fruity curry with chips was tasty.Good prices compared to London where I’m from as I was there hiking in the lovely Brecon Beacons!
