Proper chips, perfectly cooked lamb shank. I just pulled the bone from it, absolute perfection! It came in a bowl with a mint gravy and it was faultless!Do not miss out!

Really friendly staff. Very helpful very friendly. Food was superb and the roaring fire was lovely. Great pint of Guiness too. Plus England won and the 80's backing track was a real bonus(I'm bias though as I love the 80's)

Don't often leave many reviews, but after spending the day hiking in the brecon beacons, stumbled across the pub and glad we did. Food was brilliant, great portions and very reasonably priced, staff were lovely as well, definitely recommend.

Great traditional pub, friendly crowd, great service and quality beer. Brilliant option after lots of walking. They even have a naughty corner.

Fantastic food, very friendly staff, and great ales. Also very dog friendly. Near to Pen Y Fan and the Brecon Beacons, perfect before or after a mountain walk.

My daughter, puppy, and myself came to this part of the world to celebrate my birthday. Staying locally, we visited the Cow Inn, and were told that the kitchen was shut. Quite exceptionally, the staff reopened the kitchen, and made us our meals of choice – which became my birthday celebration. The food was lovely and the staff were terrific ?

Lovely traditional pub; good quality food from a basic but nice menu. Very friendly staff; lovely roaring fire so very warm. Would recommend it for a nice meal out and reasonably priced. Dog friendly.

Fabulous evening with friends and family. Everyone's meals were excellent from starter to main to dessert, with the chef Lisa personally coming out to see if we were all happy. Brilliant service throughout the whole evening from all of the staff. Would definitely recommend the Red Cow to anyone, the service, atmosphere and food is top class.

What a gem of a pub! We popped in for Sunday lunch on our way home from a day out and have to say we had the best pub roast we’ve had in a long time (the kids’ sausage and chips went down a treat with my daughter too). What a warm and welcoming team of staff and what a lovely, cosy pub. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for the amazing food

We visited The Red Cow for a family Christmas meal. The restaurant is cosy, warm and inviting. The young girl that served us called Brydie was so lovely. She was attentive, friendly and smiled throughout the whole evening. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made our evening so much nicer :) x
