Attended a gig here last weekend, 1st time to visit the Red House cymru, & it certainly won't be the last, beautiful building, fantastic sound , all the staff were absolutely outstanding, so friendly, very accommodating, they go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble for them, thank you all for an outstanding night at The Redhouse cymru.

We came to see Tom Jenkins and the people the poet on Saturday 20th August 2022. Great venue, beautiful building inside and out. Staff very helpful and friendly. In fact a gentleman at the door gave us directions to the room. See respite not being visually disabled the gentleman noticed me trying to get up the stairs and pointed out a lift. He followed me up and got me a seat. At the end of the evening he showed me to the lift and asked if I was ok going down on my own, because my husband and son had used the stairs. Very helpful and polite.

Have only been to this beautiful establishment once for an acoustic music night which was brilliant.

Large imposing red brick coloured grade II listed building that houses arts and a theatre. Good place for a photo stop.
Recently refurbished, beautiful old town hall offering cafe style dining. Situated right in the heart of town with all amenities on your doorstep and the Castle Hotel 2 minutes walk away.

We held one of the launch events for our project at this wonderful venue, and it was a really great experience - the room itself was amazing, really big, light and airy and the refreshments were delicious. All the staff were really eager to help and made sure our event went off without a hitch. Thank you, and well done on a brilliant venue - we would definitely use it again!

A great local venue for gigs, exhibitions and events. A place that the people of Merthyr can be proud of. Also has a good café.

We called in today while visiting Canolfan Soar and couldn't believe the size of this wonderful building, a lovely member of staff named GERALD WILLIAMS showed us around this impressive building which has so much history behind it. We were so surprised and will definitely go back, the cafeteria was comfortable and clean and can't believe we haven't visited before. Well done Merthyr!!! and thankyou Gerald 😂
