Hidden goldmine. This place has a gem of a menu that has delivered excellence. Morgan as front of house shines, a friendly greeting on this miserable day, 29/08/23. The wife & I ordered the 10 oz ribeye. For the 1st time in 18 months, our steaks were PERFECT!! The fries, onion rings and sauces Anne (chef) - thank you. This was such a great meal. Found by accident, hoping it isn't the last time we come here.Parking: A fair amount of spaces available.

Lovely food and service, burger the best I had in a long time. When sitting outside you have a lovely view of the mountains. This is the same mountain where the Brecon Mountain Railway track is. Best view during sunny day.

It was alright nothing special to write home about. For the price I thought the food could be better, its all very well presenting it nicely. But at the end of the day it is pub food and compared to rival pubs in a 20 mile radius, its dearer and not as good. The staff on the whole did a good job and the pub itself is nicely decorated.Will I recomend, no. Dont let that stop you as may like over priced burgers as that is what is mainly on the menu.

I booked a table over a week ago only to arrive last night and be told that the kitchen was closed! All of the tables turned up to be told the same thing and nobody has the decency to call and let us know! This place has seriously gone down hill which is a shame because it was lovely when I first visited a few months back.

A family member booked this restaurant and after looking at the reviews I was dreading it-however the reviews cannot be more wrong. The food was incredible, speedy service and the staff were brilliant. They also assisted us with hot water for baby’s bottle and heating up our sons food pouch. Would definitely go again!

Must say I was worried after seeing the latest reviews but we had a lovely roast dinner! 13 adults and 4 children. No long wait, hot food, plenty of extra veg and extra gravy!! Definitely would go back again.

A lovely roast dinner. Staff were amazing. Very clean and friendly. There were 15 of us and all the food was piping hot. Wpuld definitely recommend.

First time at the butchers since the new owners.I have to say, the food was exceptional. A family meal, with 6 adults, and 3 children. Excellent menu, that catered for everyone.Very clean and the service was spot on.Highly recommend 5*
