“Did not partake in the food but looked delicious. The atmosphere is great and Butty Bach on draught, my idea of heaven. Good beers, lovely beer garden and great staff. What more do you want in a boozer.”

“The people at this pub are the nicest people you will meet while traveling in wales. We were lost trying to find a cab to take us to our residence that was outside of monmouth. We were in the pub for a few drinks and asked them if the could help us out finding a cab. There was no one willing to drive us because they had already finished their shifts (this was around 4pm ?). As it would have taken us 2h on foot with all our luggage, one of the owners was soooo kind to drive us himself. We could not believe our luck. We want to thank him again for helping us out in such a big way. We hope to visit again some day ? all the best of luck to the future of the nicest pub in wales.”
