I came for an evening meal after a good day out a day was pleased with my choice.
Nice food, nice staff and interesting people.

The food took a long time to come. My steak was horribly overcooked and the chips were some sort of synthetic reproduction. The location however, was beautiful

We came for an afternoon tea and having two family members who have issues with nuts and gluten is a challenge. But what I can say except for amazing not only was each person allocated exactly for their needs and my daughter who has a gluten allergy was able to have the most amazing afternoon tea and not feel different in any way. The chef came and checked all was good and was a lovely touch would recommend highly

My sister and myself went for afternoon tea Saturday and it was super. The location itself is amazing, such a pretty place. We couldn't believe our eyes at the amount of food there was for afternoon tea. I had to have gluten free and it was perfect, sometimes GF can be dry but this was not dry in the slightest. I loved how there was coffee served as well as tea. Staff we all friendly and accommodating. Will 100% be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed a recent large group birthday celebration here at which the staff were very efficient and friendly, and the food and service were excellent. Thank you team!

Just arrived back from a wonderful stay at Mellington hall. Stayed in Room 1 The Mellington suite which is a lovely room, fabulous views, feature four poster bed and a huge jacuzzi bath. Had both lunch and dinner and the Food and drink was very good. I can recommend the Porterhouse steak, absolutely delicious. All local produce and excellent wines from tanners of Shrewsbury. Cask ales and flagon cider were also very good. The staff and the locals are friendly and welcoming . Also met the owners who were also very welcoming and told us all about the history of the hall.
Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Have been to mellington hall today with 2 friends for C Christmas afternoon tea , it was excellent ?everybody very attentive and helpful , will definitely be back !!!

Such a warm, welcoming lobby. Matched by the welcome of those working there.

Only stayed 2 nights, wish we could have stayed longer.

Had a special meal out with friends. We go regularly and never had a problem before. Food was always excellent. However last night my meal was horrendous. The gammon was overcooked hard and dry. The egg was like rubber. Never made a scene but went privately to the manager and told him. All he said was I'll tell the cook and was totally uninterested. I was going to book 3 rooms for a future event in March but will certainly not be booking now and will never go to Mellington again. New management are horrendous.

The site management were friendly and helpful, the grounds are excellently maintained and the hall and food was delicious! All staff we met were friendly, professional and attentive towards guests. We stayed in the caravan touring park for 4nts and it was lovely even if the weather let us down. Very dog friendly place and the dog walks are perfect. Would highly recommend and we will be back!!!
