Overpriced and greasy, what a let down, as we were very hungry. the chips were not crispy and looked very pale. One of our fish had lots of grey bits. The mushy peas were nice though.

Last time we have fish and chips here the fish was dry and had obviously been sat for some time. The chips were soggy and tasteless. Decided after a year of not going there to give them another chance. Wish we hadn't bothered. Disgusting once again. And as for customer service I suggest you look up the meaning of this .

Ordered meal for 3 of us. Had kebab fish, nuggets and chips.All the food was fresh and delicious ? best chips I've had in ages.

Great little F&C shop. Owner is Turkish I believe and very friendly. We had three Cod and Chips. All freshly cooked, nice size portions, not expensive. Lovely location, nice eating on the benches outside. Took a load of chips home for later!

I'm sorry to leave a bad review but I told the guy who served me that I would have to as the chips were just terrible. They had been cooked before I got there and I don't know how long they had sat there but they were soggy and very greasy as well as Luke warm. Chips should always be freshly cooked. When I put them in the bin outside they joined trays of uneaten chips all the way down. I went in and told the man who served me but he just shrugged and seemed disinterested. Such a shame.

Our food was delicious. We had 3 cod (which were very large and freshly cooked with a lovely tasting batter), steak & kidney pie, sausage, battered sausage, 3x chips, and a pot of curry sauce. There was a wait, but everything was piping hot and freshly cooked so that was fine by us. There wasn't an option to pay by card. Thankfully, we had some cash with us, as our order came to £38. We were given a large bottle of Pepsi on the house. I've added up to date prices in the photos.Parking: Lot of free parking spots, but still sometimes hard to find a vacant space.

Friendly staff and quick to order, always keen to support local businesses when visiting, but on visiting yesterday the fish (cod) had very little taste (either not frozen fast enough when caught or left unfrozen for too long), and chips were overly soft and soggy. While I understand taste is subjective, for anyone rating this highly at 6-7 quid a fish (which is standard fare) suggest you try any well rated fish and chip place to compare (may not be bad idea for owners too)

Always welcoming … smiles and courteous staff from a family tan chippy … fish is perfection in batter and can even phone order ready to pick up without queuing … food cooked as required .. no overloaded waiting food that been there for ages and dried out … fresh and always top quality … myself and friends only use this lovely local place due to the regular standard and hygiene of the place … prices are good value … can’t say anymore ..Parking: Parking is easy right infront if the shop itself I have always been able to parkKid-friendliness: On a busy evening children were in the shop and the owners were chatting with them and made effort to “serve “ the child not just the adults .. family orientated and welcomingWheelchair accessibility: Ground level and easy to access

Really nice food if you go early, Been late a few times and pies have been microwaved so soggy and gooey.not the biggest portions ever but enough. Just. But I do like a big fish or lots of chips ?Very friendly staff and always helpful and chatty.

We noticed the fish and chip shop by chance when driving through the village. Really impressed with the food. We had 2x fish and chips & 2x kids sausage and chips. The fish was ace, service was friendly and plenty of chips. I’m surprised in the negative reviews by others, ignore them & give it a go!
