Excellent family run fish and chip shop. I had cod, chips and mushy peas, all beautiful cooked and a really decent portion size?

It is my personal opinion to say that it is the best Chip Shop in Britain. Chips aren’t burnt nor undercooked, but just right.

My sister, 2 nephews and myself visited the waterfalls at Aberdulais. We had a fantastic time and on the way home we popped into Cilfrew Fish and Chip Shop. The person who served us was absolutely lovely with a positive demeanor. There was a fantastic menu offering great value food. The boys ordered from the children's menu and one had chicken nuggets with chips and the other had sausage and chips. My sister ordered faggots, peas and chips served with gravy. I opted for the corned beef pasty and a large chips with a side of beans. My sister also ordered a selection of pies (chicken and mushroom, beef & onion and steak and kidney) to take home. The food tasted fantastic and the portion sizes were great, offering value for money.

Best fish and chip shop on the planet. Food presentation immaculate. Always a friendly welcome. Just a honest review.
One of the best chippy around chips fresh all cooked beautifully and excellent customer service. They went over and above to help me surprise my brother and sister in law by paying for their Friday chippy treat so I left a bottle of wine and money with them and they did it beautifully. I have never met these people before and this was the 1st time I have eaten there but it is now my favourite . I now travel 7 mikes for my chips much better than shillingfords in briton ferry they should have an award . Fantastic food ?????????

Fish was very nice but unfortunately second time we have noticed chips are not too good, texture as if they had been reheated or over cooked, mostly chewy chips, don't know if they have altered the oil, or type of potato, will be giving a miss for a while, hopefully chips will improve in future. Both times our order was in the evening.

Fantastic Chip shop, beautiful food, owners cant do enough for their customers. Fish cooked to order always perfect. Accepts telephone orders and card payments in the shop. Cannot fault them at all.

I have lived and worked all across South Wales and I have been to many great fish and chip shops however, I can safely say that this one is by far the best. Not only are chips perfectly cooked and the fish extremely tasty, the owners are always very welcoming and friendly. They offer "call in your order in advance" which is great when I am running late. Can't fault it.
Always lovely food and service
