The Travellers Well

Busy with parties, staff rushed off their feet. My starter came minus a spoon, my main went astray. We were a party of seven, five meals arrived but two were taken to the wrong table. The waitress was most apologetic, looking for somewhere else next time
Edit: they tried to charge us for the two meals that went astray, good job we checked the bill, nine mains for seven people

China Garden

Fantastic Chinese. Ordered for delivery, was delivered within 30-40 mins. Beautiful food, flavoursome & fresh. Chips and veg spring rolls the best i have had. Would 100% recommend.

Sim's Fish & Chip Shop

Easily the best chippy in town, service is always fantastic, the food is divine, portion sizes are huuuge, just cannot recommend this place enough!!

Lodge Cafe

I'm addicted to the breakfast rolls , they are massive & full of bacon , egg, sausage , hash brown & mushrooms haven't tried the other food yet but I'm going to .
Left the atmosphere stars empty because we have foid delivered & don't eat in the cafe itself .Delivery is really quick , so quick the last time my kettle had only just boiled for my cuppa to go with breakfast roll

Ordered online, everything tastes amazing really enjoyed. Forgot my beans but was so nice I didn't mind. My partner had a baguette and said it was really nice. Will be ordering again xx

The Mine & Castelany's Neath Town

We booked for a party of 10, celebrating my mums birthday. From start to finish the service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was delicious as always. And even with pre ordering, food was still fresh. Gwen spent a lot of time with us and was absolutely fab, along with the rest of the team. Very good and would recommend! Thank you ☺️

Old Road Fish Bar

Nothing too special. Food was nice but some of it arrived like it was pulled from the refrigerator and wrapped up before delivering. I will definitely go to these again if I'm in the area but for delivery I'll use others. The chips and chinese curry sauce was real nice.

Just had my daughter wedding day at this venue was outstanding from being to end Karen and the team are amazing from the day of the booking to the end of the wedding they were so supportive and nothing was to much for them so many guests commenting on how it was the best wedding they had been to I can't recommend them enough thank you all for giving my daughter the day of her dreams

Friendly country pub, small enough to be cosy, but not too small. Enough room inside with a covered outside eating area.

Ordered for only the second time this evening. Food was absolutely stunning! I never wrote reviews normally but this was literally one of the best Chinese meals I’ve ever had. Quick delivery and beautiful tasting. I recommend the Thai beef brisket curry in particular ☺️ 5 stars!

Pizza Hut Delivery

Absolutely incredible pizza! Perfectly crisp crust, rich flavorful sauce, and generous fresh toppings. Huge applause to the pizza maker—your skill and passion shine in every bite. One of the best pizza I’ve ever had!

Greggs

Always used to love going to Greggs, but no longer go there as I'm now gluten intolerant and there's very little gluten free food products. It's the same across all Greggs. Please bring more gluten free options

Domino's Pizza - Briton Ferry

Always order for delivery but food is always piping hot and not over cooked, plenty of topping selections, only downside is the double decadence sauce seems to have taken a bit of a hit in quality recently, seems to be a lot thinner and runny now.

Happy Wok

Very good chicken fried rice excellent lovely white chicken , beef in black bean sauce stunning , bean sprouts and noodle could do with bit less oil but very good

Positano Pizza

We ordered chicken chips and onion rings from here. The food turned up pretty quickly and it was piping hot and tasted stunning. The chicken and chips in particular were really nice! And the portion sizes were decent. We will definitely order from here again

Neath Tandoori

We ordered tandoori mixed grill, chicken Tikka and chicken balti. All food was delicious, good portion sizes and brilliant service. This is the best indian takeaway in Neath, I would recommend it. Thanks

Chopsticks Chinese Takeaway

It’s a takeaway establishment so can’t comment on the atmosphere as I order online but the service is great, orders are correct and delivered within the time frame and the food is always hot, tastes great and the portions are great too.
I always enjoy the food and it’s my favourite place for a takeaway.

We put in a large order to feed 25 people. The staff were very friendly, food arrived when promised and everyone really enjoyed. We had chicken balls, beef in black bean sauce, shredded crispy beef along with rice, chips and chow mein. It was all really tasty and they were generous enough to give some complementary items. Thank you, would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately for the owners we were the only ones in there, hopefully more people turned up after we had left.

The food and service were fantastic and we considered it very reasonably priced as well.

We don't often come to this area but this place is on our list to revisit.

Cafe Memo

First time to visit the cafe today. Mega breakfast was amazing. Meal was served within minutes of ordering. Everything on the plate was hot and well delivered. Highly recommend. Will definately return.

Adil Masala

First time ordering from here tonight with the family as we havent had an Indian for a few years and glad we made the choice to order from here. The meast feast rice box, chicken corma, chicken nuggets, poppadoms and chips was absolutely lovely. Delivery was 45 mintues from ordering and food was piping hot on delivery. These guys have a 5 star food hygiene rating which made us more inclined to order! We Will definitely be ordering again soon!

Eastern Kitchen

I've had takeaway quite a few times from here over the last few years and overall I'd say it's a decent Chinese. Definitely not the best quality, but decent and very consistent.

Stick to the Chinese dishes as the dishes from other cuisines (Thai etc) aren't as good or authentic.

Delivery can often be slow so I'd recommend picking up your order if you can. You'll also save money by ordering on the phone and picking up.

Highlander Thai Restaurant and Takeaway

Great boozer. Traditional inside with proper seats and wooden panels. Excellent drink selection and friendly locals. Can’t comment on the food but beer was very good!

Pizza Tomato

Order pizza but put wrong door number on Skewen by mistake but they still manahed to get the pizza to me and it was hot and tasty! ?

Remember that saying "Cheap as chips " welcome to skewen fish bar here they serve very nice food plus quick service and good prices. I travel to eat here it's so good

The Gradon

Such a beautiful pub with AMAZING views, the owners was so lovely and welcoming. Let our little girl play with the chickens and put them away also for our dogs. Cant wait to come back to Wales and when we do we will 100% be coming to the Gradon. Prices's was great couldn't believe the price difference from where we live. Would recommend everyone to come here.

Parking: Great parking space lots of spaces free charge.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly out little girl loved playing in the garden and had sooooo much fun

Wonderful place to have chips.It was our stop-over for a chip lunch on our way to our gorge walking activity.Owners were very warm and welcoming as we sat and ate our chips in their seating area. Chips were delicious!

Zafran Express Cimla

We have been going to Zafran now for a few years, I can honestly say it's the best Indian we have had it's consistently good with good potions and lots of meat. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Keep doing what you are doing it's excellent, truly is a 5/5 plus more for us.

The Cod Bite

Very nice and friendly people at the Cod Bite. The fish and chips were delicious. The chips were freshly made I finished mine to the last chip ?. If you ever pass by do not hesitate you will not regret.

Whiteley Fish & Chip Bar

Great fish & chip shop, working just around the corner & had a sausage & chips. It was superb! Hope to have a few more job round this area again soon! Thank you!

Its a lovely a place food up there is fantastic tai food is the best ive tasted better then when i was over Thailand . karaoke bingo sundays summer time lush sitting out the front. Feels like if your abroad .land lady and land lord very friendly .now as a dart team there haves artist every so often .All in all its a lovely place.

The Loft

As a family, we ate here last weekend for my son's 18 birthday. It's such a lovely place and the staff can't do enough to help you. They allowed me to take decorations & his cake up beforehand, while telling me not to worry, they will arrange everything in the space allocated for us. It was done beautifully in the conservatory area. I'm so glad I chose here to go for food. Not one of us was disappointed with any of the courses. Can't thank you all enough!

Food has always been lovely, always nice and hot, lady on the phone is always polite and delivery is always nice and fast. Been using around 19 years overall and looking forward to many more!

The Cross Keys

A fantastic pub that has been my "local" for the last 10 years, despite living miles away, always a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with great service and a reasonable price for the drinks. Bands every saturday night and on bank holiday sundays too with a pub quiz each thurday, pool table, darts, and snooker table also. Can be very busy during bank holidays and weekends with live music. Food not available for several years, just a great down to earth, traditional pub.

Parking: Located a 2 minute walk from the multistory car park.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access to the rear of the pub via the beer garden

Amazing place to eat, really authentic cooking, great customer service the lady who took my order was lovely! Fast and was cooked to perfection. Me and all my friends adore the prawn crackers there because unlike other Chinese take-aways i have been to the prawn crackers are never yellow!
