Little gem of a 'plaice!'Boneless & skinless cod was cooked beautifully, steak & kidney pie was full of meat and chips were freshly cooked and tasted great. Glad we only live round the corner in Melincourt!

Reheated soggy chips. Such a shame as second time this has happened. Wont be going back and judging by other reviews not the first to complain about the same issue!

Looks can be deceiving, it's looks like a regular chippy. But the portions are big and reasonably priced. What I really loved was the chips were golden in colour not the anemic one you get in a lot of chippys these days

I have been to this chip shop quite regularly the food usually good Very Good!However, one lady who serves Shouts and comes across very angry when she serves me! Last time shop was very busy and she Again spoke to me in a very nasty loud tone everyone in shop was looking at Me. So this time I spoke to her in the same way!!!!!She was not impressed as the food was not great and jumbo sausage looked like it had been warmed up far too many times.Will not be going to shop again to be spoken to like a child and I’m paying for that………..No, thank you! Do not need the attitude or rudeness! Over someone serving Chips even a few ladies sat waiting said “ it’s best to not say anything back”!!!! Such a shame as it’s the same person each time the rest of ladies seen really nice.

Fish was delicious, light and crispy, chips were decent, and the Irish curry was delicious. Huge portions. Chips quality only thing stopping it from being 5 star

Cracking no frills chippy. Has all you would expect at a reasonable price with good opening times.One minor gripe is can be mare to park up on main road outside...but not chippy's fault and worth it - never in there too long.

The food is always piping hot. Portions are plentiful . Staff pleasant and helpful. Parking is limited but has never been a problem to me. Check opening times prior to going. And it's cash only, so go prepared.
