We decided to try a local pub , it's a cosy pub good atmosphere under new management. The bar was welcoming and courteous. No local beers appeared to be available, but the Worthingtons was spot on.

The best Sunday lunch in Ceredigion. Always in demand and early booking is advisable. Quality of food is exceptional, generous portions and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit - tell them Gary sent you!

A great local pub with excellent food. We regularly go there for takeaway Sunday lunch, but also have evening meals there, would highly recommend this pub and it’s grub. Staff are also as good as their food.

We stopped here because we were camping at Cwmtydu Caravan Site. We needed a Sunday roast and it was in front of us in about 10 minutes! Fabulous service, great food and with the rugby on the telly it was a lovely atmosphere. The only downside was a bad odour from the men's toilets when you went by them to get to the ladies.Parking: All the available parking we could see was space for about two cars right up against the side of the building but it felt rather like parking in the road. We didn't have any issues though.

Lovely Sunday lunch at budgies today. Staff are amazing and so accommodating. We had a bar meal yesterday and again the food was great. Will come back again and again.

Food was superb, went with the reviews on TripAdvisor and wasn't disappointed. Couldn't make my mind up whether to have cod or the mix grill but went with the cod.

Allright for a drink, not really kid friendly, beer garden to the rear not much and not well maintained, there is a jungle jim but also very old, pool table inside has a sign on it say no under 16s would have been nice to have a game of pool with my son.

This is a great little pub on the edge of the village and if you want good quality ale and great pub food then I would highly recommend it. I opted for the surf and turf, which was an 8oz steak with scampi tails. What I was served with was almost half a cow, it was certainly bigger than any 8oz steak I have ever had and it was cooked to perfection. I had the Welsh Ale that I thoroughly enjoyed and overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I would certainly recommend this place for the food and beer. Whilst we were there, which was a Friday night, the place was quite quiet by 8:30 hence the 4 start review, but apart from that it was excellent.

Went yesterday 7 of us for Sunday lunch, definatley won't be going back! Pre packed sliced beef, frozen veg and after paying (don't now why we did mind) noticed the kitchen is stinking, the chef had bloody big dirty working boots on for god sake!Filthy dump!!!!!

Lovely staff, excellent gin, friendly local customers. The barmaids ran the place like clockwork. Not many proper pubs like this anymore and importantly dog friendly

Busy village pub. Dog friendly. We ate in the beer garden. Look at their website for opening times - currently Weds - Sun.
