I was served a horrendous burger, driest thing that has ever touched my mouth! Anything else was average at best. This was addressed to the waitress and she was quite dismissive regarding the issue. This is why I left this review.

Below average food and the pub is not dog friendly.

Enjoyed the food, very good menu of fresh items. Beer good. Service could have been better. Quite abrupt when asking to use their parking when the car park weren't anywhere near full even though we spent £140 on food. And got ushered to leave the table a couple of times. Delicious food though can't fault it.

Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms. Called in for food whilst in New Quay. Lovely pub with a good atmosphere whilst watching the rugby. Nice outdoor area for the kids to run around. 8 of us eat and everyone really enjoyed the food. Dog friendly too. Would recommend and go back when in the area.

Been here several times over the years, food was good and fairly priced. Nice pub, friendly staff. But the most recent visit food quality is less than average for very inflated prices. I understand costs have increased etc but the burger with extras almost £19?? Poor quality ingredients in the burger. Had better handcrafted burgers stacked with all the trimmings priced less in high end restaurants. As with other food choices all ok , but again average pub meals all around £17. Such a shame as used to like going here. Expensive night out for average pub grub.

Visited while down in Newquay for a few days. Food always cooked to perfection and is good value for money. Staff are very friendly and extremely efficient. Its always a pleasure to spend time here. Kept very clean and welcoming.

For almost £16, you would expect the burger to at least come with some salad and sauce. Instead, it was literally a plain burger in a dry bun. The actual burger was drier than the Sahara. This was not cheap food. I have no issue paying any price for food, as long as it is at the quality you expect for the price point. I was genuinely shocked that this was how the burger was supposed to arrive, I even asked the waitress if it was correct.Very overpriced for the quality of food received.

Superb food, great atmosphere and just a lovely place to have dinner. We popped in for a drink on Monday and came back for dinner on the Wednesday. Superb Kids dinner and great house wine - even spiced up the curry on request. Service was excellent

Lovely overnight stay, evening meal was excellent, breakfast was fantastic too, rooms were spotlessly clean and such a comfy big bed, great nights sleep. Literally can’t fault it, location perfect, staff went over and above. No complaints at all, highly recommend.
