Had a takeaway roast Sunday dinner while camping locally. Opted for the beef dinner. The food was amazing. 3 large slices of beef which were really tender, a crispy Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes & parsnips, stuffing & veg plus a large pot of gravy each. After eating my fill I reheated the remainder over an open fire for supper later. The beef was still tender & I still didn't eat it all, but my dog licked the foil tray clean and also approved. Very friendly, local feeling pub. Came here to meet a friend while on holiday, immediately greeted and felt welcome. Very affordable prices for both food and drink, and a lovely layout.

Such a friendly little pub, everything was very clean and well oresented. We had a lovely meal here and my husband enjoyed the variety of ales on offer. Will visit again when we're next in the area.
