Stopped with partner on way back home to Cellan and stopped for late dinner. Excellent portions all good.

7 people in front of me, no-one ordered fish. Sausages, chicken nuggets etc were all ordered, so by the time it came to my order, the fish had been sitting there for at least the 1/2 hour I was waiting, got home and the fish was so dried out it was inedible, they should have served my fish rather than waiting for the sausages to cook, would have earned them a far better review
Stopped for Pie and Chips. I have to say, the fresh batch of chips were properly cooked and crispy, well drained and then salted nicely. The pie was crusty/flakey and cooked in an oven not just soft and gooey, done in the microwave.I'm very pleased that I tried this place. Paid by card, no quibbles. The atmosphere was quiet and subdued. The young lady preparing the food was on her own and busy, but very polite and did a 10/10 job with the food.

Oh my goodness , what can I say , My Husband and I had a breakfast there this morning which was Amazing , we tipped the service as they were super friendly and on our way home from Newcastle Emlyn Town, we picked up a large chips , which was large , my goodness it was xtra xtra large for £3.20 . The chips were Amazing , crunchy on the outside and so soft on the inside . My husband and I agreed these were the best chips we had ever had in 65 years of our life. The staff were super friendly this morning and this evening . Thank you all x

Staying locally and needing something to take back to the caravan we visited on a Friday night. It was very busy inside with lots of people standing around waiting for orders so it was difficult to know who was being served next. The staff could have been more engaging which would have helped. We ordered a large chips plus a small sausage and a large battered sausage to share, and the price was very reasonable, it was also a massive portion of chips! Way too much for even two of us to finish. It was your standard chip shop grub really. Not the best but not the worst, quite greasy, but for the price and if you’re starving it’ll do!

Visited while on holiday in the area, we a had takeaway order. We ordered fish ( doesn’t say cod so unsure what white fish it is) and chips, burgers and chips. The food was disappointing, fish was over battered and greasy, the chips we received were very crispy and hard not fluffy like you expect. The burgers (chicken) was again greasy. The whole meal wasn’t good, we definitely didn’t visit again and wouldn’t recommend.
