We stopped for a couple of drinks and some nibbles after a nice walk. It’s a lovely place and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It was happy hour and the drinks were excellent- high quality and value for money. The pub had won some award for best venue, so there were a camera crew in filming. Unfortunately, I left my wallet in the pub. Thankfully the brilliant owners went to the trouble of writing to me and are posting the wallet back. Brilliant place, definitely worth a visit!

Nice little pub, like many other places in surrounding areas. Unfortunately not family friendly at all! we were sent to a competitor's premises. Dogs are allowed in, children unfortunately are NOT!!! All we wanted is a cheeky drink after very long walk. Families not welcome ?

Ordered a curry from across the road, took my 7 year old child there to have a quick drink as there was a 20 minute wait to collect, was told no children allowed. It was only 5-15pm. I wouldn't mind but they should at least make it clear by having a sign outside that families are not welcome! Took our custom elsewhere and won't be going again.

Probably the best bar in the village. Really friendly atmosphere and even had some sausage and chips at half time. During the game they provided waitress service which was really excellent and I can only with my local did the same. Thanks for a great day out
