Called in and was very pleasantly surprised. Lunch menu is sandwiches and baguettes, but don’t let that put you off. I had a roast beef on malted bread and it was superb. Absolutely jammed packed full of tender beef and served with what could pass for a full mixed salad; not your usual leaf of lettuce and a slice of cucumber! Landlord and Landlady both really welcoming and super friendly. Pub itself is lovely, a proper old school pub - dartboard and all!
Lovely pub spent three days in Burry Port we were due to go walking but it rained so we ended up in this bar, Lovely well presented cheese board for two, you could pick three cheeses from a list which was great - plenty of cheese biscuits, grapes, pickle, butter and a bit of salad this came with a bottle of wine for £25 . We will be calling in again Next time we are in the areas for more of the same :)

Delicious lunch whilst on holiday, gentleman owner and wife were lovely. Great spot and lunch fresh, beautifully presented,tasty and filling, my daughter and I had to take half away with us great portions. The chips are the best ever, my son is a real fuss pot with chips and he enjoyed two bowls full, thank you both xx
