“Having just completed a very hot 5-mile walk, we stopped at The Green to 'take a quick look' at their afternoon tea menu, and was amazed by the range of delicious looking cakes on display. We eventually picked a slice of lemon drizzle to go with 2 pots of tea and laughed with the lovely guy working about how we'll try and be fair with sharing the slice between us. When he found out it was our anniversary, he very kindly gave us a 2nd slice on the house and we happily scoffed the lot - it was incredible cake and the perfect end to our walk. A really lovely cafe with a great vibe and we thoroughly recommend it!”
