“Amazing little cafe . Had a salmon cucumber bap and custard slice . Was soo lush . Daughter had tuna bap and 2 egg custards . Not expensive . Staff were lovely . Service was fab . Even took some cake home with us .Will be back again .”

“I go into Costa in newtown powys 3 or more times a week the staff is always jolly and happy and is extremely friendly they keep the place clean and tidy and the service is remarkably good. I am disabled and on a mobility scooter and all the staff goes out off there way to help me any way they can. But I have to say that I read a bad review and and was very annoyed with the comment made about it being unkept sometime they may have to in a queue when more people come in at the same time. But they serve them and if they are sitting in they sit and the staff will bring it to them and always apologise for the wait but you have to wait anywhere you go if they are busy at times. All I can say is to the staff is carry on with the great job you all are doing and keep smiling ?”

“Stumbled across this cafe and we were very happy to find it. There were 8 of us and a dog, but the staff were quick to give us a table and get us settled. The food was wonderful, all dishes came out quickly, very tasty and large portions. Even the dog got a bowl of water and a sausage on the house! Highly recommend”

The Welsh seaweed and oat laverbread cakes are Proper good...
We had to take one of the tempting Victoria sponge cakes home too..
