Alex the manager and most staff are amazing, my morning coffee on a Friday after my Nightshift is the highlight of the week. Alex is a true asset to Costa, his coffee is always excellent, happy to make it hotter if taken away if you ask. The foods were okay prepackaged so not to the control of staff but always presented nicely. The atmosphere made by the staff is friendly and upbeat. A little dark in there but something HQ needs to invest in tarting it up.Kid-friendliness: Staff are great with kids, easily looked over but they greet the kids too, makes it a great place to take the kids for lunch!

Very smart and tidy Costa outlet, with plenty of indoor seating and very good service and of course a good range of drinks from Costa.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two entrances one of them having a ramp.

Slow service took 20 minutes to get a quick coffee, the place itself is unkept, the seats/furniture has not been looked after properly. All air con units are leaking and stuffed with paper towel. The place as a whole is grubby if your are a Costa fan, I would not come here as you’d only be left disappointed.

We were served by a person called Jordan (I think, if I glanced their name badge correctly) they were extremely helpful, thorough and friendly. Saved 50% on our food items (4 desserts, a wrap and pizza bread) so a cheap and very cheerful visit! Will look forward to returning!

What a good call popping into Costa Newtown today!I'm starting to try alternatives to dairy, and asked about the soya milk option and had a really helpful chat and a sample of the 'Ultimate Blend' that Costa use, which was lovely.Thank you for the help and fab coffee!

Gotta say...... Impressed. This is the ONLY time I've visited a Costa where the barista warmed the cup before pouring. It made a huge difference.Only thing I don't understand tho'. ... Why add the espresso to the steamed milk? I always add the milk to the Espresso. Much better effect ... Crema on top. Latte art if you want to present it well.

Unfortunately for us, today's lunch experience in our local Costa wasn't how we usually find it. Extremely slow service due to only one person serving behind a very busy lunchtime counter on her own, juggling making coffee, warming food & taking the orders. She really did need back up and we really felt for her. There was no decaf coffee or toasted tea cakes which was quite a disappointment for me but certainly not her fault. After choosing our food we sat down to one of the only tables that had been cleared of crockery. We noticed that the general cleanliness and up keep of the upholstered seats had seen better days which is a shame because the whole place used to be so clean & tidy. Our food was OK but for me it wasn't the best experience I'd had. Not too sure if we will be going back but am very aware that I believe all of the issues are down to being short staffed. Have to add to these comments that we actually tipped the server as we felt so sorry for her & she was doing the best job that she could in circumstances that could have been avoided.

Nice place for a cup of cofee.Vegetarian options: They do offer vegetarian paninis and sandwitches, as well as cofee with plant based milk.
