A group of friends had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Real home cooking with delicious vegetables and Yorkshire puddings. The lovely lady in charge even made a special pudding after we booked in advance and notified that one of our party had gluten and dairy intolerances. Great beer also. Delightful and charming young serving staff.

We drove out of our way to find this little pub today, was very relieved to find a quaint characteristic building with lovely surroundings. Unfortunately it was closed so we didn't get to see the inside or sample any food it drinks.. but it looked like the kind of place we would have enjoyed, and the sun was shining - so 5 stars

Fabulous Sunday lunch. Meat was so tender and veggies cooked to perfection. Vegetarian options as well. Plenty of lovely gravy really impressed and would thoroughly recommend.

Cycle touring through in extreme heat which then turned to heavy rain 2 miles from the pub. We stayed on the field for the night. Beautifully mown grass. Shame it was raining heavily and we turned up so late. By the time the tent and tarp was up and we were showered we didn't have a chance to check out the pub, we just passed out.£5 squid each. Now thats what I'm talking about. The highlight was the amazing showers which is what you want after a hard day in the saddy. 20p for 4 minutes of the most wondrous shower.... So we blew 80p in to total between us, the bathrooms had a wonderful pine aroma.... Until the black pudding, egg and baked bean bap passed through but the extractor fan worked well.Thankyou.

I have not been to the Dolau for many years, I was there today for my Auntie's husbands funeral
We had Sunday lunch here recently. The food was all home cooking, portions were good and the food was served hot. There isn't a lot of style here but you don't expect that in such a quaint country pub. However I didn't expect to carry my bottle of wine and glasses to the table!!
