I stayed here for the first time on Friday night and I was very impressed, extremely comfortable bed, great ensuite and the room was nicely furnished and very clean. In the morning had a lovely breakfast which set me up for the day and to top it off the team were very nice people.I will definitely be back and if you are looking for a nice place to stay when you are in the area, I would gladly recommend Parker's B&B.

Old-fashioned in the best possible way. Unfussy but neat table service and gorgeous breakfast and lunches.

What a great B&B. This is in a brilliant spot in Newtown. They have free parking very close by and is right in centre of the town. All the staff were super helpful and friendly, the rooms very clean and furniture all felt as new. The breakfast was large and very tasty. Overall this was definitely good value and would absolutely recommend.

Absolutely amazing food!! everything was homemade and fresh and that was definitely reflected in the food. Even my children were enjoying it. hands down my new favourite restaurant ? the lasagna is to die for!! We will be back!

Stayed here for three nights and was extremely impressed with the place. Ideally situated in the middle of town and furnished beyond my expectations. Decor was exceptional and accompanied by a sumptuous bed. Lovely breakfast. Fabulous staff. What more could you ask. Thank you Parkers. Hope to see you again soon.

We were a group of visitors on a mountain bike trip and this was perfect for our needs. Low cost, self checkin, clean and near to the Pier bar in the center of town. If staying here park in the nearby church car park.

Let me start with my gripe! At breakfast, the morning after our stay a lady called Tina (perhaps the owner) came into the room to engage with the guests. There were three tables of guests including my table. Tina with great warmth engaged with table one. Have a good five minute conversation with them and being very engaging. She then moved to table two, again showing great warmth and attention to her guests. Following her conversation with table two, she turned, looked at our table and walked out of the room!! Not even a basic ‘good morning’. Perhaps Tina assumed that because we were brown we could not speak English!! Even my teenage son commented “she ignored the brown table!” With regards to our accommodation it was great. We had room one. A nicely presented room and a spotlessly clean bathroom. The one issue we had was the heating was on full blast and we were unable to turn it down or off from the radiator no matter which way we turned the control on the radiator. This made the room uncomfortably hot but luckily we found a fan in the cupboard so put this on to counter the heat and it made the temperature more bearable when sleeping. The car park was fun to get into. Like a crystal maze challenge but simple when following the precise instructions given. Overall a fantastic room and great breakfast. The only blip was the blatant ignorance/racism shown by Tina. Maybe Tina could educate herself.

Walked in and was greeted by a smiley face and was told to sit where I liked. I took a seat near the window, lovely comfy high backed chairs and a gorgeous spotlessly clean quality round table. Was given a menu by another very friendly member of staff. Came back after a couple of minutes and I ordered a double espresso and an eggs Florentine without the spinach but with ham instead which was no problem. Coffee arrived along with very nicely polished set of quality cutlery on a quality paper napkin. Coffee was superb, piping hot, dark and rich just as it should be! Breakfast then arrived which was beautifully presented on a large warm plate, ham was thickly sliced and poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience this morning and a fair price was paid for what I received, the quality of service and the atmosphere of the place! Highly recommended to everyone!

I spent three nights here and for a town centre b&b was just amazing. I expected to hear some noise being surrounded by pubs, take aways etc. but I was pleasantly surprised and I’m a very light sleeper. Immaculate rooms, sumptuous bed , lovely breakfasts and the staff were just lovely. There are a lot of stairs but I did not find them a problem and I’m a septuagenarian with an iffy hip. So overall I can honestly say this was the best b&b I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in quite a few. Thank you Parkers. I will definitely stay again.

I visited this establishment last night while away on business. I arrived late on a cold, snowy, dark evening yet found the property very easily and parked outside on the road. (Unlimited free parking 6pm to 9am). My room, 6, was gorgeous with lots of space, an amazing bed and spacious shower room. Lots of lovely little touches, a little bowl of fruit and chocs to welcome you and even decaf tea! I slept perfectly, no noise at all. Breakfast was quick and really nice. Will definitely stay again. Thank you

We had lunch at parkers, thirteen of us ranging in age from 97, my mum who’s birthday it was down to little 4 year olds . The service was wonderful, lovely waitresses and the food was great, according to everyone. They even let me have a child’s meal as I’ve not long had an operation. Everybody’s meals looked lovely. The waitress who took a family photo for us deserves a medal, she managed to get all 13 of us in photo and all looking at camera. Thank you so much for making my mums birthday so special
