I feel honoured to be drinking in a pub home of the British National Domino Champions 1986, it’s a wonder they could see the spots with the great choice of beers on sale! Tucked away off the Main Street and only a stones throw from the birthplace of Robert Owen, this place is a must for any real ale drinker. Can’t comment on the atmosphere due to limited numbers in today.

Always clean & tidy.. Friendly staff, pool table & lots of room to sit and have a drink.
Great pub .....you can take in your own food to eat including the Indian next door.?? No fish and chips though ☹️ pub is also doggy friendly.
