“I'm no too enamoured with establishments bribing you with discounts for 5* reviews as do Posh Fish & Chips. Bit dishonest me thinks. That said...I've made two visits to the shop on Llantrissant Road...and both times been really pleased. We like that they serve more than just cod which we're not too fond of. We've had both the hake and haddock... and both were excellent. They were cooked to order, in good fresh fat (no stale old fat smells wafting out the door) with a very generous helping of decent quality chips. If I've got one niggle and that was the fat wasn't drained enough from the fish..so ended up being slightly 'soggy' by the time I'd made the 2 mile journey home. However, under the grill for a couple of mins and the fish was crispened and the flavour remained excellent. So, whether on my next visit I get discount...or not, is by the way. This is a chippy I can heartily recommend. So Posh Fish & Chips, cut out the bribery and continue to deliver good quality food...and we will come back.”
