4 Cog Rd, Sully, PenarthA birthday walk and celebration for a friend, everyone's food looked fabulous, although two of us had fish n chips, the fish was overcooked and dry, such a shame, bad choice on our part, but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their, steak, burgers and halloumi. Service was very good and staff were very attentive.

21 Glebe St, PenarthWent today in a party of 13 for a family dinner.I had requested the wrong number of seats – but this was not a problem… it was sorted!The restaurant owners accommodated us really well – we ate and drank royally and it was good value two. We were seated upstairs in a window seat which was great.Unfortunately, as establishments try to cater for everyone including dog owners, we were soon interrupted by a loud 'yapping' dog beneath us (at the table next to the stairs). It was continuous with no attempt by the dog owners to stop it.The couple at the table next to us looked over and commented that it sounded like the dog was sat with them at their table.I'm assuming because of the set up around the stairs it just resonated up to the top floor.Such a shame as we were having a lovey time until that point able to hold a conversation.I would certainly go back on the understanding that I wasn't anywhere near the stairwell.If it wasn't for the dog issue, it would have been a solid 5 stars.Dietary restrictions: Really good gluten free and vegan options

As a vegetarian I've never been to a tapas restaurant that's so delicious and caters so well for dietary requirements!! Everything was super fresh & hot! We will definitely be back when we are in Wales and I highly recommend this restaurant to any big groups! South Rd, Sully, PenarthWe happened upon taste of turner as we were walking along the coast. It stood out from the rest of the food trailers with its little garden and bright flags. The smell alone was unreal. The menu was full of delicious sounding dishes so we tried a few. Simon was so kind and gave all the children free home-made fries. We ordered a curry goat and a coconut chicken both with fires and rice. While we sat and ate Simon gave us tasters of belly pork and Mac n cheese. It was to die for!! I honestly have never eaten such wonderful home cooked food from such a stunning trailer. It’s like a little holiday and so close to barry and penarth. As we ate, more and more customers arrived and Simon knew them all by name. There was such a family vibe. We will definitely be visiting again!

14 Glebe St, PenarthFirst off, the staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful. Then, there was the food. It looked like a standard menu, but was bursting with flavour! The veg was all fresh and crunchy, the meat wasn't fatty, the salt and pepper chips packed a punch! For the first time in ages, we ate every bite! Even the fried wantons weren't greasy at all, they were perfect crisp little bites of goodness.I wish I lived here, this place would be a weekly event!

Cracking food and very friendly atmosphere we were served by a lovely waitress Katy very friendly and positive girl. Will definitely call in again many thanks guys lush hour out amazing food cracking pint sun and the sea happy days ?

One star off because this Spar also regularly has different pricing on its shelves compared to what comes up on its tills. But - nice staff! Check your receipt but do keep going there.

Windsor Arcade, PenarthBeen there over 15 times now for a meal. Every time the service has been excellent and the food has been amazing. The fish & chips is my favourite meal but I have tried several others. The chicken curry, the Lasagne Verde and the breakfast were also very nice. The creams teas in the summer were also really good. Plenty of hot drinks, cold drinks and a few alcoholic drinks to choose from.They also do sandwiches, baguettes, Panini's, cakes, deserts and jacket potatoes. They also have a selection of Vegetarian meals.Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Directly opposite,a 30 second walk is a hipster Off Licence.This make the restaurant very busy therefore make a reservation in advance even on a Monday to Thursday.All staff where a pleasure.

Pickford's Galley and Bar with rooms, The Esplanade, PenarthHappened upon Sid’s in Penarth when I wanted to have breakfast with my Dad. We were greeted with friendly smiles and offered a lovely warm spot to sit down. The Full Welsh breakfast is probably the best I’ve ever had and we plan to return at our earliest opportunity. Also considering booking one of the monthly pop-up evening meals as a treat in the near future. “Tidy”.
