A birthday walk and celebration for a friend, everyone's food looked fabulous, although two of us had fish n chips, the fish was overcooked and dry, such a shame, bad choice on our part, but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their, steak, burgers and halloumi. Service was very good and staff were very attentive.

Great little pub nicely decorated. Very tasty menu reasonably priced and a good selection of beers, staff were helpful and attentive. It's also dog friendly which is helpful after a walk on the beach..Parking: The car park is opposite the pub with plenty of spaces, just a couple of steps up to the pub or a walk up the pavement for disabled access.

Been wanting to get down here for a while and finally managed to get in today. Lovely setup and service. The food was absolutely lovely and just great atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back. Three of us just decided to drop in on the way home, for a drink. We saw the food being served which looked absolutely tremendous. The front of host host was most friendly and certainly judging from what we saw. We will be going back.

Smashing place,staff very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. One fault it was very cold upstairs there was no way to stop the cold air coming upstairs from the front door. They need a partition and a door at the top of the stairs.

A family visit for 2 birthdays. We had a warm friendly welcome and were shown to our pre booked table within seconds. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The menu choice was excellent. Dietary restrictions were dealt with easily. The scotch egg for starters was delicious. My son ordered the cod goujons which he said were amazing. Our main course arrived promptly. Our table had the braised beef- delicious, tender and flavoursome, cod fillet- again delicious and tasty. My husband had fish and chips- portions were large with tasty fresh ingredients. We were too full for dessert! We can wait to return. Thank you to all the staff.
