Really good food and beer. They have refitted upstairs into a restaurant area yet managed to keep the downstairs still as a pub with good real ale and a wide selection of other beers and ciders as well as some fancy gins! Also has a nice sunny (well potentially!) beer garden and a car

Had food before the comedian on 16th feb,was excellent only disappointment was the dessert board only about 4 choices but not a major issue (calories and all that)Upstairs to watch the comedian and what a treat absolutely superb had everyone in a party moodWell done to Ashley for putting a great evening together will definitely support any other eventsMust mention the staff friendly,efficient and spot on with everythingA proper boozer

Really nice atmosphere, relaxed and great food. We came in prior to the rugby and the staff found a nice quiet table to serve us delicious food. We will absolutely return! :)

Family of 13 meal, asked to pre order food. All meals were pre ordered but still managed to get 2 meals wrong. Had to get own cutlery for mains after cutlery removed after starters. No steak knives offered for those having steak. Waitress didn't even know which steak was which or how it had been cooked and what sauce was with it. Overall not a bad meal but a lot could be improved on.

Very happy with my Mix Grill came with 3 lots of meat ? ?️ Only cost £12:50!! Good price ? Kids portions was very good too! And kids enjoyed their desserts ?

Friendly atmosphere. Good traditional pub grub at a reasonable price. Would like more choice of vegetarian food but as I occasionally eat fish I was able to find a suitable choice.
Despite being a busy Friday night the staff were friendly, service good and the food great. Large portions, tasty and well cooked.

First time here as treated by bil easy to park as we were early but gets full if you eat later good seating for me . Expected the normal Sunday roast but no the lamb was thick cut but just melted in your mouth veg well cooked not served half raw as is the fashion now, roast pots done to a crisp not pale and bland like so many places great gravy with any sauce you need and hot plates ,a rarity now . The sweet was just what was needed after a heavy course light sweet but very full of flavour . We will def be going again when we next visit great value for moneyWheelchair accessibility: Had good wchair entrance at the side
